"I was looking for a good, reputable company to provide me with a quote to install a water softener system in my home. I looked on Angie's List and found a few that service my area. While I was contacting them, my co-worker told me of a company he used to install a system in his home. Eagle Water Corporation. This company came recommended to him through a mutual friend of ours. My co-worker told me that his system is a reverse osmosis filter system with water softener. His home draws water from a well, not from the city. So his water is extremely hard and has alot of extra minerals. <br /> Since I just needed a water softener that gets water from the city, I figure this was an easy project. I visited Eagle Waters' website and read through their site. It contained alot of information. I used the form on their contact page and received an email the same day from Jose Paulin, the owner. <br /> Jose asked me to call him to speak about my needs and to set up an appointment. After the call, we set up an appointment for later in the week. Jose was prompt to the appointment and asked me questions about my water consumption, amount of people in the home, number of bathrooms, etc. He then took the information and presented several options that would work for me. <br /> I settled on a water softener that is slightly larger than what I need. This is what I wanted just in case I ever fill the home's five bedrooms.. be it with more, future children or bring in my elderly parents. <br /> On the day of the installation, Jose walked me through the work. He showed me the parts of the water softener and provided information about it. Jose and his employee dug a trench to access my existing water source. He then ran a new pipe to the water softener and another new pipe to the main water entry into the house. He provided me with outside access to regular city water and another for softened water. (Great to wash my vehicles and not get hard water stains!!) He painted all the new, exposed PVC pipes a gray color that matched my homes accent paint. This made the pipes look original! The other pipes were dug about 6 - 8 inches underground along the border of the home. <br /> The work took about 4 - 4.5 hours. The finished product looks great behind my fence and is completely out of the way. Oh, and Jose had to re-work the A/C drain pipe. He did this perfectly and now the pipe isn't in the way. During the course of the work, he even replaced an existing pipe that had a small leak. He didn't need to do that as it was not his problem.. but he went beyond the call of duty in providing this fix. He added concrete pads for both the brine and water tank to set on. Overall, a very professional installation. <br />"

"It was a great experience. Josh showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. My drain was cleared in no time and he also cleaned my stopper which contributed to the slower draining. I plan to hire this company again to install a new water heater."

"We recently used Plumber Mike’s for our sewer hookup. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience from the first visit to the completion of the project, Mike and his team were great. The work was done quickly once he got the permits. I would gladly recommend Plumber Mike’s to anyone that needs the services of a plumber."

"Excellent experience with West End. I needed to replace the Water Heater on a house that we just purchased. I called 4 different companies listed in Angie’s List and West End provided the most competitive price ($825 for a 40 gal Rheem) but also the best experience when talking to their appointments person (thanks Alana). The Plummer they sent (thanks Mike) is a nice person, and he arrived on time as per our appointment time. When I initially called them I asked for a 40 gallons heater, but upon initial inspection Mike informed that I had made a mistake, because the current unit was actually 50 gal (it was a very old unit so it was difficult to see the specs). Mike told me not to worry as that was a common mistake, and he said that he would need to go back to their office to exchange the 40 gal unit that he had brought for a 50 gal, so he proceeded to remove the old unit and he took it with him already to dispose it. Mike came back 30 mins later with the new 50 gal unit and immediately proceeded to install it. All connections and pipes cleanly setup, heater installed on a new pan without me asking, and the only thing that Mike suggested to replace was the main supply valve to the heater because the old one was extremely beat up. Once everything was completed and tested Mike provided the invoice... due to the situation of the mistake I made about the gallons capacity of the heater I thought that they were going to charge me additional, for the double trip and the fact that a 50 gal is more expensive that a 40 gal. I was pleasantly surprised that they honored the original $825 quote that they had giving me for the 40 gal, and only made the additional charge of replacing the main water supply valve of the heater ($100). They definitely won my future business, as I will not hesitate to call them again for other plumbing jobs that I’m sure we’ll need on this house."

"I had called several companies to get estimates as to what it would cost to re-bed water filtration systems. Estimates ran from about $800 to $1500 - just to replace charcoal. After reading positive reviews on this site, I had Chuck come out to give me on-site estimate and was pleasantly surprised by price he quoted, which included adding an additional carbon tank and re-routing pipes which he told me had been put in improperly when the system was first installed . <br /> Because of complexity of job and weather conditions, he had to split work into 2 days. Each day he arrived right on time, got to work and didn't leave until he was satisfied that everything worked properly. When I spotted a small leak on top of one of the outside tanks, he came by the next day to fix it. I was so pleased with his work that I had him come back 2 weeks later to install a reverse osmosis filter system under my kitchen sink. <br /> Chuck takes pride in his work. He always answers calls, or returns them quickly after he gets your message. <br /> I strongly recommend Chuck Marple and his H20 Connection for any work involving water filters and softeners. <br />"

"This provider was very honest and forthright. For example, before beginning the installation, he informed us due to the revised electrical code, we needed to have an electrician "hardwire" the electrical connection with a junction box and switch instead of a <br /> plug-in cord. He gave us the price up front before the installation. Ryan (Owner) and the installer, Seth answered our many questions <br /> and assured us if we had any further questions in the future they would be happy to answer those as well. <br /> After the hour-long installation, I noticed some minor scratches on the exterior of the heater. I called Ryan and asked him to locate some touch-paint so I could take care of them. He called the manufacturer a few times until he was able to persuade it to send me the paint. <br /> A few days later I received the touch-up paint and I was able to remove the scratches. <br /> I call this excellent customer service. I believe most plumbing companies would have just blown me off when I asked for the paint. <br /> The water heater works perfectly! <br />"

"Unfortunately I was not told their price before the plumber commenced work. I supposed if the leak was not fixed then the price should be adjusted. (Most of the other plumbers that were previously called performed trouble shooting without any charge). Eduardo with his companion had to drill into the wall and although we could see water seeping from the neighbor, he had no access to stopping the leak. Finally he wrote up a mighty bill double their usual price because according to him they work with the insurance. The bad news is that he gave me the bill to pay him. I objected to that anyway . He finally cut the bill in half which was still very high considering that the leak is still unresolved. Secondly all their sales talk was really not followed up with. Not only that they left some loose nuts while trouble shooting and did not respond to my call to come back and fix subsequent leaks as a result, another plumber who came to investigate the same leak did the left over job and tightened the loose nuts. . My advise to this plumber is to announce his fees upfront before making a trip and respond to follow-up calls."
