Settled on $2100 for complete cleaning of fireplace, chimney, as well as repair of masonry & bricks, installation of new liner & hookup to insert. Returned on the agreed upon date and on time. "Mark S. was very responsive. He reviewed our situation and provided an estimate via email rather quickly. The chimney wall tiles were gradually falling and causing drafting issues. We immediately felt comfortable in hiring Mark and scheduled the work after the holiday. Mark, Ben and Dan arrived promptly and were courteous. They protected the basement storage area from any dust or debris by putting up plastic sheeting and laying down tarp. When they were finished, the area was spotless. The cement patch work on the wall opening was done nicely too. The replacement connections to oil water heater and two oil furnaces looks great as well. It all went well and we were pleased to have hired Chimney Savers and Mark Schaub and his crew. His estimate was fair."

"I had some loose bricks on my chimney and water was leaking into my fireplace. Best Way provided an estimate with a couple of options, to repair the loose bricks and to repoint the entire chimney. They wouldn't guarantee their work unless they did the repair and repointing together. I priced out other chimney repair companies, all provided me with different repair options and prices. I thought Best Way provided the most realistic and cost effective proposal. Overall I was happy with their work and the two masons that did the work were courteous, professional and did a good job of cleaning up after they completed the project. Although Best Way did have comparable pricing when compared to the other companies I received estimates from I feel like the prices for this work were higher than they should be. In total the cost of labor comes out to about $200\hr for each mason. I know these companies have to make a profit, but... Overall I was happy with the work they did and would hire again. Not happy with the pricing of these companies in general."
