"Overpriced! 5 hours spent at our house over 2 days. I didn’t see an itemized list of charges until the receipt after payment. Original estimate was over $2400! I removed items I knew our electrician could do for less. Estimate still $1800, but I thought I’d be happy with the quality. When I received the itemized receipt afterward, I noticed they charged $189 to repair the porch railing. This was minor repair - requiring 1-2 nails in 2 areas total. Buying an air powered nail gun costs less than $189. And they only fixed 1 of the 2 areas, so they didn’t even complete the task. The power washing done before painting the railing was minimal and suboptimal. I immediately contacted Mr. Handyman and was told that my questions would be reviewed. Silence. I’ve had an electrician come to our house- 8 hours of work including the 2 things that I removed from the Handyman list. Their work was more extensive (8 tasks), total charge $650. I’m blown away by how overpriced Mr Handyman is! Beware"

"I originally purchased one of their higher priced water softeners and the next day decided I did not need one that expensive! So, I cancelled the order with no problem at all and Paul, the salesman, worked with me in finding a cheaper one that would be kind to my budget. He also was able to get it installed in a few days since I did not have any soft water and lots of iron. The installation went fine and the guys did a great job putting it in. Very professional and competent in their job. Good company to do business with!"

"After another plumber said he could not fix the problem I paid another service fee through American Home Shield to have another plumber come out. Randall and Sons were assigned. He came out said it wasn't the problem the other plumber said. He said he would replace the toilet. He did not put in the request, did not contact me, did not contact me when I repeatedly reached out to resolve the issue. After contacting AHS several times, he told them to close the assignment. Nothing was wrong. He kept my service fee and I still have toilet issues. Do not use Randall and sons."

We service all of North Central Indiana. Our residential rates are $85.00 per hour with a $60.00 service charge. Commercial rates are $105.00 per hour with a $60.00 service charge in the Goshen area. All work is billed on the 1/4 hour. Payment is due upon completion, we accept cash, check or credit cards.

"Dave left a huge water mess and tried to say it was there before. He picked and chose what water messes to clean and even made new ones that he didn't clean. Dave also blamed his lack of cleaning on the career center student of which I was not in the know about. Had I known that I would've rescheduled for a time that he could have a fully experienced crew to come out. I tried to ask for compensation with only more excuses. The work is great, the clean up is terrible terrible terrible. They left rusty water stains up my stairs and claim it was already there. This is not how I would treat a customers house. With or without a career center student. VERY unprofessional to blame the CC student and not take responsibility for your lazy actions Dave. I wanted to call and leave a rant however I figured a review was more fitting after it was all said and done."
