"Excellent work. Pete responded promptly to my initial inquiry, came out ASAP to provide an estimate on the cracked step (and on a bigger "dream" project I've been thinking about), explained what had likely caused the damage, and gave me several options for either replacing the step just as it had been, or upgrading a little bit depending on my price range. His recommendations were good, and we didn't feel pressured at all, but the full reshaping of the step into a rounded one was a bit outside our budget so we took him up on enlarging it by several inches instead. Overall, Pete was friendly and professional, and had that air of experienced competence that you look for in someone doing work on your house. I didn't even bother getting a second estimate. I did, however, call a good friend who has worked in the brick industry for years, and he assured me that the price Pete quoted was right in line with what he would expect for my project if you want it done right. When I gave Pete the green light, he scheduled the work promptly, showed up in the morning on time a few days later, and knocked the whole project out by that same afternoon. Put simply, the step looks great. It was done promptly, in line with our budget and at the price Pete originally quoted, and our whole experience with him was easy and hassle-free. The new brick color is matched perfectly with the old brick (absent a decade of wear and tear obviously), as is the cement, and it is clearly quality construction. In sum, I would highly recommend PK Masonry to anyone, and I will definitely use him again if I can ever convince my wife to let me pull the trigger on that dream project I've been thinking about..."

"LJIA Masonry did an amazing job replacing the broken flagstone covering my front door stoop and steps. They explained why the original flagstone broke over time and suggested a much thicker stone. It was fun watching them cut and place the stones to make them look as natural as the originals."

"Chad, came out to tell me if I had foundation issues to be concerned with since I had small cracks in the corners and along the crown modeling in my home. And basically, it was only cosmetic issues that needed to be repaired by a painter since overtime due to normal wear and tear of a new home. I was so relieved because foundation work is very expensive. Had was nice, honest and explained everything!! I would recommend Chad and his company for all foundation inquiry and repairs!! <br />"

"Chimney Chasers performed a level II fireplace and chimney inspection for a real estate sale and also swept the chimney for the quoted price. No surprises or upcharges. The gentleman was a pleasure to work with and everything was left clean and tidy! I would definitely recommend Chimney Chasers!"

"Great. The crew (Iggy, Chris, Don, and Leo) arrived 15 mins early. Very professional, friendly, and seemed very knowledgeable. They were confident that they could fix my sagging exterior wall and repair the masonry damage. Of course I won't know for sure for a few years, but it appears that they did a very good job. They found the problem, fixed it, installed two piers, repaired the brickwork, and also repaired cracks in my brickwork in other areas of my house. They cleaned up after themselves, and repaired the area of my concrete driveway that they had to dig through. Lots of specialized, heavy equipment was needed - that plus their obvious expertise and experience does seem to justify the high cost. Extra service: An hour after they left, I tried but could not get my garage door to work. I assumed that some of the work they did caused the opener to become mis-aligned, I called and left a msg at their office. Within 20 mins Chris returned my call, and came back to my house within the hour. They quickly showed us that the cameras were mis-aligned (we should have realized that), and fixed them. Nice."

"I HIGHLY recommend Hewatt Roofing! A+++ <br /> During the recent heavy rains, we had moisture find its way in to our screened in porch. Frantic, I searched high and low for the best roofers in our area. The company that kept rising to the top of the reviews in our area (Both Angie's List and BBB) was Hewatt Roofing. I called and was fortunate to quickly get on the calendar for an inspection. Within minutes of the initial inspection, Jerry had pinpointed the cause of our roof leak and provided his recommendation on how to repair it. He also provided a lightning fast written estimate that we received on the same day of his inspection. The day the work was scheduled to begin, Jerry was punctual, professional and did an outstanding quality job. Several days after the repair we had a monsoon rain that lasted hours. The repair held! Not a hint of moisture. If Jerry performs work in your service area, look no further for a roofer. He's the best! <br />"

"About five years ago we had a bad roof leak from a previously botched roof job that required repairing <br /> the plywood under the shingles to stop leaking into the attic and down into a <br /> bedroom. When Artech Roofing and Construction arrived they assessed the problems <br /> and gave me a very fair price compared to other contractors. The other <br /> contractors pushed for selling me a whole new roof which we could not afford. <br /> The work was done promptly and properly and they also replaced 3 vent boots. <br /> <br /> In September we had another <br /> very bad leak that semi-flooded our living room. Again, other contractors <br /> wanted to replace the entire roof. Artech arrived and thoroughly assessed the <br /> problem. Again they gave me a very fair price for fixing the valley. This time <br /> I asked them for a price for a complete tear-off and new roof. I was surprised <br /> they gave me such a very competitive price compared to 3 others. <br /> <br /> When Yilber Velasco, the <br /> company owner, examined the interior damage from the leak, he told me that my <br /> homeowners insurance might cover the damage. He informed me that they could do that work as <br /> well as they are licensed general contractors as well. Yilber worked <br /> collaboratively with my insurance company to inspect and consider the damage. <br /> <br /> Throughout the various <br /> steps of the process, he and his crews worked politely, efficiently, and with <br /> perfection from the roof, gutters, soffits and fascia down to all the inside <br /> work, always leaving at the day with cleaning up so that we could continue with <br /> our normal lives. Patricia, Yilber?s wife and co-owner worked so well with my <br /> wife in choosing colors, patterns, etc. She patiently worked with my wife as <br /> they collaboratively sorted through a multitude of options. My wife stated that <br /> she felt she ?found a missing sister.? Patricia steadfastly focused on getting <br /> the floor transitions to be a perfect blend between floors. No minor details <br /> were left without insuring we were totally satisfied. <br /> <br /> After the roof was so <br /> beautifully done, we decided to replace several windows. Again Artech provided <br /> the solution with a top rated brand of energy efficient windows at a price so <br /> affordable that we replaced the entire house for a price of a handful of other <br /> brand name windows. When the installers sealed the windows with the copping and <br /> special caulk that could not be painted to blend with the exterior paint. Although <br /> we did not complain about the original install, Yilber and Patricia sensed that <br /> we were not totally thrilled and insisted that copping and caulk be changed. <br /> Patricia had them return to replace the copping and caulk at their own expense, <br /> again insuring that we were totally satisfied. We are thrilled with the result. <br /> <br /> Patricia and Yilber?s <br /> crews were all very friendly, and always focused on getting every detail right <br /> for our approvals. The experience of working with them over the last few months <br /> (roof, sub-roof, soffits, fascia, gutters, inside ceilings, floors, walls, painting <br /> and windows) were all completed in timely and meticulous fashion. We have never <br /> had such delightful (yes delightful) experience with contractors! <br /> <br /> If you want fair highly <br /> competitive pricing, accurate descriptions of every detail of the work, crews <br /> that are non-invasive and willing to go that extra bit for your complete <br /> satisfaction, we highly recommend Artech Roofing and Construction. <br />"

"I like this company and have been using them since 2010 but I had a very odd pricing experience this year. They installed a gas log set for us, and hooked up a gas line, and have swept and inspected all chimneys this whole time. <br /> We have five fireplaces, and three chimneys. One fireplace is wood burning, three are gas, and one is gas/flueless. <br /> I called to schedule the annual check and sweeping and told them they could skip the flueless fireplace since we don't use it. They quoted me over $800 for 4 fireplaces. After I hung up I checked what we spent last year and it was $311 including two new pairs of gas lantern nets. <br /> In the interest of giving them a chance, I called back and ended up getting transferred to the service manager. In the end, he agreed to match last year's price but if I hadn't called back then I would have just gone elsewhere. There were two men here for less than two hours. I know they need to know what they are doing but $800 is not a reasonable price to be quoting. <br /> Now I will look around for other prices, and I have used Chimney Solutions for other work. <br />"
