"The company rapidly responded to the service request and booked an appointment with me in a timely fashion. Technician, John, arrived on time and did call 20-30 minutes prior to arrival. He was polite, profession and respected the property. Quickly diagnosed the issue and provided me with several options after showing me and explaining the issue with the fireplace. Fortunately the parts were in his truck and he was able to quickly effect a repair. Everything was cleaned up and he even cleaned the fireplace glass insert (this is a natural gas fireplace). "We had a new pellet stove installed.  I was super impressed with everything from the consultation to the finished product.  Let me just say that I researched getting a pellet stove off and on for over 2 years.  I got ranges in price between $1900.00 and $5500.00. Finally, I went to Angie's list for reviews.  They did not steer me wrong.  I met with the owner Matt for a consultation.  He knew his stuff and was very pleasant to work with. 90 days same as cash and my pellet stove was installed.  I love it.  It is beautiful.  I had just painted my brick hearth white and they didn't even make any marks during installation.  I highly recommend this company. <br />"

"We had contacted Chimney.com and asked if they could check out our gas fireplace and tell us if it needs to be replaced or fixed. Ours was a 2002 possible model, so it definitely need to be replaced. They let us know what the estimate would be for a total replacement with a Majestic Fireplace and all the bells and whistles that come with it! We said yes and set a date. Then they notified us that it came in early and if we would like them to come out earlier than scheduled and we said YES!! They showed up early in the morning -a little after 8 AM which is fabulous! They worked the whole day taking the old stuff out putting the new stuff in! The crew cleaned up as they worked. The company is wonderful -We would recommend Chimney.com to anyone and everyone that needs their gas fireplace looked at! It’s always a pleasure working with a company that treats you like family! "The repointing work was generally done well. Old mortar and bricks were removed and new bricks were installed. The craftsmanship was excellent. However, the color of the mortar used differed from that in the rest of the brickwork, so at present it stands out. Sixpenny said to wait a period and then re-evaluate whether any change should be made. I would rate this as an "A" but for the color difference in the mortar that was not expected. The chimney cap work was done well."

"Wow! Amazing service. I must've called 8 different places in a panic trying to get the brick mounts which hold the mantel removed from my old fireplace so the surface could be prepped for a new TV. Seemed like an easy task (I thought), but it was a little more meticulous than I thought. I called this team and they arrived same day! Incredible customer service and expertise. Not only did they return the day after providing an estimate and remove the brick mounts, they actually re-fabricated the brick to make the holes disappear! This team knows their stuff!! I was so impressed that in the Spring I'd like them to come and do some masonry work for me. Highly recommend. I could not have been happier with the final product, and the result matched exactly what I had hoped. The team was very patient and meticulous, and still delivered each step of the project with no delay. "The end result seems to be pretty good but the project had a lot of bumps with multiple visits by multiple crews. One crew dumped white liquid in two parts on the front lawn and killed grass, dumped fireplace ashes beneath a tree in the front yard, and dumped unused concrete (which then hardened) in the far corner of the back yard. Another crew failed to do the work to replace the concrete cap at the top of the chimney, so water dripped into the fireplace the next time it rained and another crew had to come to do the work, and the painting of the firebox had to be delayed while the fireplace dried out. Not sure if the supervision of the crews is not good or the company is using unreliable subcontractors, but the whole project was an adventure that I would not want to repeat."
