"I have a pre-fab (not masonry) fireplace in my condo and needed new fireplace doors. I checked online and at Home Depot and Lowes, and unfortunately, you cannot use pre-made doors on pre-fab fireplaces - you could end up burning your house down!I called a couple of places in SF - one never returned my calls, and the other told me I couldn't get replacement doors (which have to be custom made) for less than $1200, and they couldn't come out to measure for another 3-4 weeks. <br /> Then I went to the Warm Solutions store. I made an appointment to get my fireplace measured that week, and here it is about 3-4 weeks later, and I have beautiful new fireplace doors, exactly what I wanted, completely installed, for less than $1000! I'm very happy with the end result.The guys who came to install the doors were on time, very polite, and cleaned up after themselves completely. When you've been working on a home improvement project for awhile, this is something you really come to appreciate! I would definitely recommend Warm Solutions to a friend."

"I was able to use Angie's discount coupon (-$10) for the $185 cleaning. While I never want to burn in fireplace, I appreciate their report that my 100-yr-old chimney is unsafe to use. Unfortunately, they were not able to close the damper they had opened. They did suggest I fill that opening with insulation rolls to keep cold air from blowing in. Mainly, I wanted to get an estimate on installing a cap that had never been added. Fortunately, they were able to install one during the visit. I am just waiting to get a receipt for that additional $180 cost."

"Daddario Roofing was the third roofing company I had give me an estimate to replace the entire composite roof of 25 years.  Even though I heard some tho'ts from others that the roof had some life left in it, Daddario was the only one who said I didn't need full replacement as yet and that they could repair the damaged shingles (from heat) over the garage and then vent the garage for better air flow.  I was delighted to not have to do full replacement and spend much more money.  The original roof had  40 year composite shingles and only the garage roof had really suffered due to extreme heat in the garage itself.  I had no venting in the garage whatsoever.  <br /> Working with Steve, Edgar and their staff in the office was a pleasure.  They always got back to me in a timely manner and were pleasant to work with.  The estimate, work authorization, and payment were all done online which was new to me, but worked out well.  The roofer, Juan, was professional, punctual, and tidy.  Everything was cleaned up well when he completed the job.  I was very pleased. <br />"

"Poor customer support after purchase. They had to come out twice to resolve manufacturer's product problems. They like to blame you for why the fireplace doesn?t work, or blame your contractor?s installation or anyone else they can think of to avoid handling the problem. And they left the door open and my cat escaped, couldn?t find it for two days. (The owner told me I should have put it in a pet hotel while they were working at my house, rather than tell their employee to close doors.)"

"Initially declined. I convinced them to come take a look. The tech was very friendly and helpful, did the sweep efficiently and cleanly, and performed inspection. He said the rust was no problem and I could leave it like that. I did need a new chimney cap. We discussed what cap would be appropriate and they seemed willing to ignore the code requirements where I live. I think he would have been willing to leave the old cap and do nothing, but I sort of insisted that it should be fixed. It was suggested to have their office order it. Their office never called me back. I called them and they indicated they weren't capable of ordering the cap. I ordered it myself from online. When it came I called them to come install. The install job took < 15 minutes, drop the cap on and put some sealant. After they left I noticed the cap is a bit crooked with respect to the pipe. Functionally fine I assume, but aesthetically not great. Summary: Simple job like 'sweep' they were efficient. More non-standard like 'inspect and repair' I had some hassle to get them to do the job. But to be fair I called 10 other companies and none others would show up (or in one prior case had done it wrong), so while I would normally not be that happy, I do now have a functional wood stove with a legal cap, and I have at least one professionals opinion I dont need to fix the rust."
