They very carefully restored and reused the original porch columns and restored the original windows at my request. "Erik and Mike arrived and spread out their tarps and went to work on our wood stove. We had a lot of problems with smoking and a bad odor. We are new owners of our home and didn't know the last time the chimney was cleaned. It was amazing the amount of creosote and ash the guys got out of the chimney and pipe (along with a poor little squirrel). They did a fantastic job and the area was as clean when they left as it was when they got here. They were very informative and really know their stuff. "Mark's employee arrived on time and got right to work. It was HOT (first week in September), but he worked tirelessly. After prepping the site, he cribbed the area, put in a good, deep stone base, then rebar, and poured the concrete. He figured just the right amount of drop from the house to the yard so that rain did not puddle near the door. I would estimate that the finished surface has no more than 1/8 of an inch variance from level all around - pretty nice. <br />"

"We've always been very happy with Randy's work. This latest job he did for us is no exception. The room that he worked on for us is a sun room which was added to the house 25 years after initial construction. There's evidence of recurring problems with moisture damage to the interior plaster walls, ceiling and crown molding. We had just finished a lot of plaster repair in the room two years ago when we started to see some water discoloration on the ceiling near the crown molding this past winter. Randy came out quickly, found and repaired the leaking joint. He recommended that we try applying a industrial grade sealant to the walls in order to reduce the chances for future water damage to the interior. We trust his advice and agreed to his work proposal. The sealant doesn't alter the appearance of the brick and should last 8-10 years. If it works, we'll continue to have it applied as a preventive maintenance measure. He also came in under his estimate which we appreciate. We recommend Randy A. Brady Masonry highly. <br />"

The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."
