"I hired Lakeside to install a water heater in Ann Arbor in 2024. Their quote was about $400 higher than a competitor, but I chose them because I was told they could complete the job six days earlier. The water heater model was selected by a Lakeside technician during a paid visit to the property. However, on installation day, I was informed that the selected tank would not fit and a more expensive model had to be ordered. More importantly, after the installation, the required permits did not pass final inspection in time. During a City of Ann Arbor rental inspection, I was informed that the final inspection had not been completed, and I was unable to obtain the required certificate. As a result, I had to pay a $500 fine. In 2026, the unit required repair. I was informed that the issue appeared related to improper installation (including dissimilar metals in contact, leading to corrosion). Lakeside did not stand behind their work, and I had to pay for the repair."

"stay away- they are very dangerous- improperly installed (twice before realizing their error) a natural gas water heater in a home that only has natural gas. Luckily no harm - this time- but realize the water heater states to use the proper gas- danger of harm including death. Please be aware that they took the old water heater out - so they should have known the type of gas (plus drove right pass the big outside LP tank multiple times) There are a lot of other issues but this was the most disturbing"

I had a water softener already and he felt I could use this I appreciate the honesty. The installers were very knowledgeable and answered all of my detailed questions. They were very responsive and I know have great tasting water now. Very much recommend this team."

"Had them come out for a fluctuating water pressure. They came to the conclusion that it was my pressure tank. I had them put it in 4 years ago so it was under warranty. Still cost me $750 for labor under warranty to put in a new one. WOW. They said the old one was no longer available so they tried to get me to pay the $197 difference between the old tank and new one. I voiced my opinion and they did cover the difference. Fast forward 2 days and the problem is still not fixed. Water is still fluctuating and I’m out $750. Was it the tank really?"

"Great, they were very professional and courteous. The sales person came and gave us three options that would serve our needs. We got other bids and selected Beauchamp. The installation person was great and cleaned up after he finished. They followed up by coming back to check the water quality."
