"Ken worked with me on scheduling so that he could finish on a Saturday while I was there to let him in the house. He recommended stucco restoration vs. a complete teardown of the chimney which would have been much more costly, and he did a nice job installing a fireplace insert with liner and termination cap. He accepted the shipment of my very heavy insert and brought it with him on a Saturday.  Ken and his sons also traveled about 50 miles to get to my house. "Mike was very efficient, and explained every step of the process in detail. Mike and his crew did a thorough chimney inspection and cleaning of the chimney (found that a sweep was not necessary). A detailed list of findings and recommendations was documented, and an estimate presented. I was hesitant to use my fireplace until having it inspected, but now am looking forward to my first use of the season. My dryer is working much more efficiently now, and I can have peace of mind that it is not a fire hazard. "Joe and his crew were outstanding! We had a chimney fire which required replacement of the fireplace insert, along with the flue, chase and cap. We had three different companies out and gave us estimates, but then I found Your Chimney Sweep and right from the start Joe took the time to explain options and the reasons to or not to do something, whether we had the work done through them or not. I liked that he was a former firefighter and was certified in all the chimney sweep certifications, including a Master CSIA Certification (not all the others were). "Godby came out to service our gas log fireplace which wasn't working correctly. I was prepared to have a hefty repair on our hands, but it turns out it was just really dirty. Their price for a service call is definitely higher than some of the competition, but at least they return calls, schedule appointments, and show up when they are supposed to. I appreciate that professionalism and thought the worker who came out to my home did a great job. He was polite, respectful, and kept his work area neat and tidy. <br />"

"Roland showed up on time Tuesday and started by making sure the door I bought was not damaged.  He also measured the new door and then the rough opening to make sure I didn't make any mistakes on ordering the door. I didn't think there would be any but I liked that he double checked before removing old door. The installation went well and required a trim board to be replace due to the new doors brick molding being a little narrower then the old door.  No problem with the measurements because the rough opening was fine just a difference in the widths of the new brick molding vs the old brick molding (house build in 1984).    Roland replaced the trim at no extra cost and also  added extra  insalation around the door, and caulked everything. When finishd the door looked great and you would never know it wasn't the original.  Also love the look with the new full view storm door.   <br /> <br /> After Roland was finished I asked if he would look at my screen door on my back porch which was a mess.  He offered to pick up a new door, deliever to me to paint it and he came back on Friday and installed it with no problems.  His help in getting this door was great because I didnt have to miss any work in getting it done. <br /> <br /> I was very pleased with how everything went and would not hesitate to use him again."
