"Prior "tune up" service provider apparently messed up the hvac and then tried to sell me a replacement scenario over $3000 or a new unit for over $4000.  Next Service guy, as above noted, explained all the problems and the disconnected wiring left by the prior folks, and said it could be fixed for around $200, but it cost $410 as indicated above.  I do not think he arbitrarily increased his bill--just found more stuff that needed fixing than originally contemplated, and had to make a second trip out with one of the parts needed.

"Everything went smoothly up until I had a ceiling leak and we found that the condensation line to the other unit was broken during the installation. It was not carelessness but a poor design by the builder of the home. Anyway, they agreed to fix it and the damage it caused, without any need for me to make a lot of noise. My only complaint was that the repair was long and drawn out taking 4 or 5 visits to complete and the repairman was good but never came on schedule."

Replaced that OLD sump pump cleaned out the trash in the well of the sump pump also. Installed the new one for a good price, he quoted me first before he started the job. I will call him again. "The guy who used to come out and do the maintenance of our unit, used to work for another company. He’s a really great guy. So when he started his own company we switched over to his company. He’s excellent and he’s a really good guy. The people that work there are excellent. They are very honest. They are very nice people and very polite. They are very thorough. They are very professional. If they find something wrong, they take the part and make sure if it’s under warranty and then get the stuff if needed. They are very conscientious. "Our A/C system went out, we called a company that we had used before. The guy came out the next day to look at it, he told me the fan motor was out and that he could replace it for $355, or I could replace the whole Lennox system for $6,100. Regardless they were too booked up to do it for at least two days.. So I called a few family members and I was referred to Green Leaf Air. I gave them a call and I spoke with Ben, I told him what was going on, and he asked me to send pictures of my system. I sent them, and he explained that that particular system was not at all worth $6100. Ben explained that I was being completely ripped off. "Arrived at my Canyon Lake property to find my heat was on Aux Heat.....which says the main unit "has a problem". Thermostat read 56 degrees...a bit chill inside. I contacted Vetter for the assessment and they were "booked"......but found a way to get a technician out to our home. The bad news...compressor was grounded. The anticipated value of this repair forced me to call my home warranty company. Dealing with this company can be "challenging".......the short story is I insisted on Vetter handling this repair - as opposed to one of their network providers. Reason...because Vetter has consistently provided responsive and professional support every single time we have called over the past two years. Mike Vetter has a great team - from the ladies in the front office, to his vigilant dispatcher, to the seasoned  technicians who have visited our property. Excellent communication and follow up with the customer is a rare find these days. I am pleased to recommend the Vetter Air team.......I find them a "quality" HVAC provider.
