"The scheduling was extremely easy and fast - they were scheduled the same week I contacted them. They arrive within the window stated and completed the job in the same window. The gentlemen were very professional and curious, leaving my fireplace cleaner than when they arrived. The chimney was extremely dirty with soot and they cleaned it out and it now draws better than ever before. They did recommend one fix to the fireplace which we will do if we decide to keep the wood-burning fireplace and not replace it with gas (which we are considering). We will use this company to service our chimney going forward and would highly recommend them."

Craftsman was very responsive to my situation. I left a message on their machine on a Friday, they returned my call and came out to look at the job on the following Monday, and returned 4 days later to do the work. They arrived on time and promptly completed the work in a professional manner. Steve and Alexander were very easy to work with. <br /> My only concern was the cost. The job was bid at $420 which I thought was a bit high at the time, but having no one else to turn to, I accepted the seemingly high cost as a consequence of the situation I was in. I had been told over the phone by another mason who and quot;didn't service Carnationand quot; that I should expect the repair to cost around $150 (plus the cost of the sealing and sweeping). Two people were on-site for exactly 1 hour so the cost worked out to around $200 per man-hour plus materials. <br /> Aside from my perceived high cost for the project, I would definitely use Craftsman again. <br />"

On the scheduled date, Armando and Andrew arrived in the morning and completed the job in one day. Andrew came back on the following Monday and cleaned the brick surfaces and made sure that I was satisfied with the results. The job was completed in a timely manner at the agreed upon price. Both Armando and Andrew are very personable and conscientious individuals and I would not hesitate to call them again for another masonry job, if necessary."
