"Technician looked at control pressed the liter button and the burner lite. He then wiped his hand over one of the side vents and said that could have been the problem...did not vacuum off the vents. Nothing wrong with control valve. Charged me $150 for lilting the heater. When I questioned the charge, he said that was a discounted charge. Never gave me an estimate for what the work cost...because nothing was wrong with heater. Talked with their manager and got the story about how much it cost to run the business. They offered to take $25 off bill. Their service assessment is $49...would have considered that to have been fair because that's all he really did. Have done business in the with A-Better Plumbing for home and rental property and charges were fair. Understand they have new owners. Senior taken advantage of..."

"Texas Premier Plumbing, Thank you so much for the amazing work you did today in Sugar Land! After the landlord sent out three different plumbers — and none of them truly fixed the issue — your team came in and got it done right. No more backed-up sewer in the bathrooms and tubs — such a relief. Even more impressive, by knowing your craft so well, you saved a beautiful, old oak tree that was almost removed because others wrongly blamed its roots. Your professionalism, knowledge, and care made all the difference. I’m beyond grateful. ❤️ Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Ronnie is excellent. He did need to come to my house more than once to get a handle on a hard-to-locate leak, but this is what he did on one of those visits: I had had very low water pressure for 18 months, following the freeze last year in February, and I had just never gotten around to taking care of it. Another company (large chain) had installed a new water heater 2-3 months before the leak discovery; at that time I mentioned the low water pressure problem at least 20 times but no one paid any real attention. When I called them back for an estimate on the leak repair, they convinced me that, with the low pressure and the leak, my house just needed to be re-piped and quoted me $8,000 - not including the sheetrock repairs that would be necessary. Thank heavens I decided to get a second opinion. Ronnie took a walk around the house and checked the gateway shutoff valve that I had used to turn the water off and then back on after the freeze. I had simply neglected to open it all the way - hands probably not strong enough. He then came back to locate and repair a very messy, hard-to-reach hot water leak for under $1400. The way I see it, his competence, his real interest in solving problems the simplest way, and his honesty saved me about $8,500."

"Jason arrived on time, evaluated the problem and fixed the problem and I also had him do so preventative maintenance with the guts of the toilet. He did the job quickly, left the bathroom immaculate and was extremely reasonably priced. No hidden addons like so m any of the big companies."

"We thought that it went very well. They were responsive, helpful, courteous and professional. They arrived within the window they said that they were going to, which was a big plus."

"Elderly scammer. My mom was talked in to spending $3000 during a six month routine maintenance on a two year old system. New thermostat was ?under warranty? but to install it was $700 then she was told the condensation would leak into one of the bedrooms and could flood it and said she needed LED lights in the coils. Another $2000. The tech even admitted it wasn?t necessary when I called and asked all of it to be removed. Will be reporting them to the BBB. Should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of an elderly woman in her late 80?s who is recently widowed and lives alone. "

"Quick, efficient, and costs were very reasonable. There are always several ways to solve a problem and they came up with a minimally invasive and effective remedy for our broken pipe situation. Good communication and friendly vibes from both office administration and the plumbers themselves."

"I’ve been a OneGuard customer for over 10 years, but my recent experience was deeply frustrating. After waiting 10+ days for Sunbelt Electric (their only approved contractor), their tech, Frank, diagnosed a bad fan motor—yet OneGuard refused to replace it and still billed me the service fee. Customer service was unhelpful, offshore, and confusing, so I ended up paying out of pocket to fix the motor. I felt misled and stalled at every turn, and I can no longer recommend OneGuard."
