He tuck pointed the outside row of bricks but left the inner ones alone, so the mortar looks completely different. <br /> It's mostly my fault, I didn't mark off points because it was uglier than I expected. I marked off points because the mortar work wasn't very clean, it's on top of the bricks in a lot of places. <br />"

Jason was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. <br /> I have only owned my home for few months so I initially requested my chimney be cleaned but he said it looked good and didn't need to be cleaned. He also did an inspection since I did not have one done when I bought the house. He took the time to talk to me about my fireplace (well, technically I have 3 fireplaces) and answered all my questions about how to use a gas fireplace. He started each one and showed me how to use them. He noted that I had no caps on my chimney so that water would be running down into the chimney. Indeed, I did notice that during hard rains there would be a puddle of water next to one of the fireplaces. He ordered caps for me and delivered them to my house. I chose to install the caps myself and he was kind enough to explain how they should be installed and even told me to call him if I had any questions. Today, three business days later, Mitch and Matt installed the furnace, air conditioning and thermostat.
