Derek's was the middle quote but he was the only one that actually took the time to explain everything to me and he figured out how we could get an even larger insert in the fireplace where one other company told me they couldn't make it any larger and the third company said he could only replace it with what was already there. Derek showed up on time and the fireplace works great. He also added the brick backer kit and a blower with a remote. I did have an issue with the fireplace after installation where it kept making a loud pinging noise. Derek came back and swapped the entire unit out and re-did the tile surround with any complaints. His team also made sure to clean up after each day. Overall it looks great and I'm going to have Derek add another fireplace shortly."

Install a waterproof coating on the exterior of the new foundation. <br /> 11. Backfill and compact the soil in the porch area. <br /> 12.  Install two new sonotube foundation piers for the new porch. <br /> 13. Remove the existing gutter, facia and soffit boards and the rotten framing ends from the old porch. <br /> 14. Install new facia and soffit boards and new pressure treated framing ends on the porch overhead. <br /> 15. Install new aluminum gutters on the porch. <br /> 16. Install a new pressure treated supporting column to the outside corner of the porch and remove the temporary supports. <br /> 17. Fabricate and install a new pressure treated deck and two new stair sets. <br />      The contractor provided a portable toilet for his men and arrived on time for work  each day.  Due to the "open and inspect" nature of this job, I was available each day to respond to  new discoveries and adjust the plan of action as we went.  <br />      The quality of work was excellent. <br />       The responsiveness of this contractor to the changing nature of ths job as discoveries were made was an important part of the success of the project. <br />       We got four bids for the work and Renaissance was right in the middle and they made good their bid for the original portion of the work.  Their bid matched our insurance company's estimate.  For the extra work,  we agreed on a man/day rate and paid them by the day.  To save money, I agreed to do the painting and lawn reseeding. <br />      We are completely satisfied with Renaissance's performance and would not hesitate to use them again. <br />       <br /> <br />"

"08/25/2017 These guys did a great job. This was kind of a tricky job because they had to duplicate the side that had not been damaged and it made it more difficulty because at the bottom of the steps instead of the siding ending square - the bottom ended curved (which called for a lot of measurements and brick cutting - the steps are red brick). My main concern was that each side of the steps would have different colored bricks, since the undamaged had old worn bricks. But they did a great job and power washed the old bricks and regrouted them and you can't tell the difference between the old side and the new side. They washed down and cleaned the front each day and at the end of the job, they did a thorough cleaning of the area. They did a great job, easy guys to work with and I am completely satisfied."

"Our foundation is around 100 years old. Maguire Masonry trenched around our entire foundation, removing pavement, concrete, dirt, trees, and stumps. They were originally planning to dig down 30" around the entire house, while removing all trees and stumps which were too close and/or growing inside the foundation. As the work started and some tree stumps were pulled out of the foundation, our basement started flooding more than usual, so Peter decided to dig that section down 6 feet below ground, rather than just the 30", put a ton of cement down in that area, and rebuild the corner entirely, at no extra cost to us. We had some scrap materials in the yard, and they used those for framing new concrete in our yard. They took all of the paint off the bricks and performed a beautiful restoration job of the brickwork. All of the work appears to be done very well."
