"I hired these folks to repair a built-in gas fireplace. This company was very responsive, communicative and prompt. Our tech was Nick, and he was excellent. He arrived right on time, diagnosed the issues, explained them to us in detail and was even able to fix them on the spot. He also did a safety inspection, as our unit had not been used for some time. Following service, he went the extra mile to vacuum up any dust and debris left by service - very much appreciated! Nick was courteous, knowledgeable and capable - I would happily have him back for any future needs with our unit. The price for service was very reasonable and came with a written, itemized estimate."

"Wow! Amazing service. I must've called 8 different places in a panic trying to get the brick mounts which hold the mantel removed from my old fireplace so the surface could be prepped for a new TV. Seemed like an easy task (I thought), but it was a little more meticulous than I thought. I called this team and they arrived same day! Incredible customer service and expertise. Not only did they return the day after providing an estimate and remove the brick mounts, they actually re-fabricated the brick to make the holes disappear! This team knows their stuff!! "I had a few sections of a brick wall that was shared between townhouses (both in the front and the back) that were worn to the point that my HOA had written it up as a finding in my home sales disclosure documents. I called up Richard and told him about the need to get all of the work as soon as possible. He was able to come out the next day, provided me a quote that night and was able to start work the following Monday. The previous owner had a similar process done on the other wall prior to me moving in, the brick that was put into that wall was not even close to a matching color and it had annoyed me for years. Richard, with just a look was able to match the brick and mortar so perfectly that I honestly cannot tell that there were repairs made to the wall (well obviously there are no more broken bricks and holes). Richard did a great job and I highly recommend him and will use him again for any future brick work. <br />"

"Very pleasant, nice guys. They were recommended to me by two other Chimney Service companies for which I have high regard ( as a property manager). I called them for a scope/camera inspection and estimate on repair if needed. The chimney had bricks or terracotta chunks in the bottom which I could see from the furnace flue. I was looking for proof that they had fallen from inside the flue and had not been there since the chimney was built. They said that they would scope/take photos of the inside of the chimney. They had been to the house previously for an inspection (no photos) They did not scope or take any photos of the chimney. They did leave an estimate of $5160 for a chimney liner. They may be a very good company, but I was disappointed on two counts: 1) no photographic proof to support a very expensive repair, and 2) the price was really high (they may not have wanted to do the work?). Other estimates I received for the same chimney repair ranged from $3200 -$1900. Theirs was by far the highest. I paid about $130 for the inspection. They were prompt, professional and very pleasant. They also provided a very informative pamphlet called Safety and Comfort. Their estimate was much more detailed and specific than the others, which I appreciate. They required an Arlington Co permit to do the work while the others made no mention of it or said it was not required. They offer a lifetime warranty on the liner, cap and damper. It was a very useful and informative experience; they may be the best co. in spite of the really high price. Further research on my part is required in order to make a decision."

"GREAT!! Dave Boyers came out to inspect and repair a gas fireplace that had not been working for 15 years. He worked for two hours trying to get the old Heatilator fixtures working but could not succeed. He told me that I'd have to find someone else to effect the repairs. An hour later he called me to say that he found the replacement fixtures on eBay. Today he installed the new parts, cleaned the fireplace inside and out (including the glass plate), fixed a gas leak, tested and inspected the system, and reinstalled all the hardware and screen and left the work area spotless. When he left my house after unsuccessfully making the initial repairs I did not think (nor did I ask) he would seek out the correct replacement parts. But he did, which shows his true dedication to his trade and his professionalism to his customers. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dave Boyers for any and all fireplace repairs and services. Plus, he provided me with sound advice on how to keep the system working and how to test it for functionality."
