Fred’s was able to come the same day I called and installed a new (and better) chimney cap, as well as repairing some of the brick work. They were professional and timely, and did excellent work."

Only complaint is if you have a truck that leaks oil don't park it in the customers driveway. I now have to clean the oil. This is why I rated professionalism as a B. The reason I rated punctuality a C is I hate appointments that are between 12 - 5. You really can't get it down to a 2 hour window or even better a real appointment?"

They explained in detail the repairs necessary and the work required to complete the job. They are very professional and pleasant to talk with, and place no pressure on the customer in terms of trying to sell up additional work and services. The repairs were done as promised at the price quoted and on the date scheduled. My “new” chimney looks great and is as sturdy as the pyramids."

He is prompt and thorough. He immediately understood the look I wanted and told me how to achieve it in a way that would be easiest to maintain. He explained to me how a gravel driveway is engineered and carefully talked through the challenges of my space, which needed grading so that water wouldn’t pool in the center. Once I decided to hire him, he got to work ASAP and finished ahead of schedule. The driveway looks terrific. I know that if I have any questions or issues, I can call Eddie and he’ll respond right away. He’s now my go-to guy for masonry or paving work. I’ll encourage my friends to use him. "Mark S. was very responsive. He reviewed our situation and provided an estimate via email rather quickly. The chimney wall tiles were gradually falling and causing drafting issues. We immediately felt comfortable in hiring Mark and scheduled the work after the holiday. Mark, Ben and Dan arrived promptly and were courteous. They protected the basement storage area from any dust or debris by putting up plastic sheeting and laying down tarp. When they were finished, the area was spotless. The cement patch work on the wall opening was done nicely too. The replacement connections to oil water heater and two oil furnaces looks great as well. It all went well and we were pleased to have hired Chimney Savers and Mark Schaub and his crew. His estimate was fair."

Roger explained everything that needed to be done and gave me a written quote. Not only was his quote much more reasonable then anyone else, Roger was exceptionally personable. "B&P Chimney folks are awesome. I called them up on Monday evening to get an estimate for Chimney cleaning/repair and they came by on Wednesday to take a look at the current condition. I was pleased to know that the owner Paul was personally there to help/do the work. Before even talking about the estimate, he and his employee inspected the fireplace, boiler, and the chimney. They even took pics of my chimney from the roof to show me what he was explaining. Glad to know that there are still honest people out there. He recommended just the very basic must do things and let me choose other things I asked. Absolutely no pressure or upsell of his services, infact he recommended me to check with fireplace company before putting chimney liners if it's really required(he does chimney liners too). They were professional, courteous and did a great job the same day they came to give me quote, how awesome is that. They are highly recommended."
