"I have used Weld & Sons multiple times since 2016. The professionalism, quality and prices were always very good. I have given this company a 5 star rating a couple times due to their terrific service. The price to replace my toilet yesterday was $535, while the prices in 2016 were $206 for one and $263 for the other (which included replacing a leaky shut off valve). Even with inflation going up, that's a 260% increase in 7 years. That comes out to a 37% inflation rate per year. While I also realize replacing a toilet for one plumber can take longer than another, I find it rather disappointing that a company I loved and used multiple times is a company I may not use again as I have no clue what I will be charged for the same service I received before and it's 100% dependent on the speed of the person doing the install with rates of $176 an hour."

Les made two calls to confirm and showed up on time. He went right to work and got through the gunk that must have been pretty far down the pipe (traps were clear). He gave me suggestions for keeping the drain clear in the future."

"We had used Barnes in the past - we contacted only to speak to Michael who said he could do a water heater replacement as the current one was installed on 2007. He came out and immediately lit the water heater and said oh it is working, and I have 20 years experience, which he kept repeating during his time at the home. He put his hand on the water heater and said it is warm - here feel. . Then he said do you still want to replace? I am like he quoted a $1990.00 to replace the water heater and you just lit the heater that cost would be $250. He said yes - and if it stops in an hour I would still charge you the $1990.00 That should of been a RED Flag. when in reality he should of said I recomend with My 20 yrs experience to replace it. But he didn't - less than 45 mins later it went out. WE will not do business with them again - he mislead with a pretense ' oh it is working now' knowing very well if a heater is 18 years old he should of said I Recommend to replace. He is running a SCAM by misleading people. collecting the 250, and plus the 1990. in our case. BE WARE"
