"I had to have my chimney repaired. I had to have some brick work done on the chimney and I needed a cap. I called North American Chimney because I had them out to clean my chimney before and they did a nice job. I called and made an appt. The technicians came out to take a look and gave me a price for a cap and brickwork. I was pleased with the price and I told them to do the job. They did the work that day and I was so happy. The technicians were very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend them to anyone that needs Chimney work as well as fireplaces and many other services."

"Cement chimney 90 yrs old collaosed. Soot build up was dangerous. Marcus n assistant replaced chimney from roof line up. Beautiful red bricks crown and cap. Not an eyesore any more. They were reliable polite congenial and informative of issues at hand as they worked. Took one day . I would hire again for other projects and refer to friends. Very happy indeed. "I highly recommend All Star Chimney Sweeps if you ever need chimney work done. When I called a few places to have some work done on my chimney I knew I had chosen the right place when I went with Larry. He is not only very personable he and his associates do excellent work at a fair price. I had called Larry at the beginning of the summer about repairs that I knew needed attention to as I could see several rows of bricks that needed replacing. Larry promptly came out, took pictures of the inside and outside of the chimney where higher up there were more rows of brick that clearly needed replacing and then left us his bid. When I called him back telling him I wanted to have him do the work I asked him if I could wait until summer was over as we had just replaced our above ground pool and wanted to be able to use it and entertain guests for the rest of the summer. I told him I would expect to pay whatever the increase in price was since I wasn't having the work done right away and he quickly said don't worry the price will be the same. I called him again with some additional requests which weren't in the original bid and again he said the price wouldn't change. Larry and his associates just finished the chimney repairs and everything turned out excellent. Their work is superb and they are very neat cleaning everything up at the end of the day. I plan on having Larry do some future work for me on the front of my fireplace on the inside. If you need any chimney work done don't hesitate to hire Larry and his company. I promise you won't be disappointed."

"First they did not show up for the first appointment. I had to call and ask if they were coming. Another appointment was made. A third appointment was needed for the cricket . When they installed the cricket, they did not vaccume out the mess. They had a tarp on the ground, but still were disrespectful of my home, walking over the mess and tracking the dirt. I requested information on cleaning the indoor brick. I was told, they had a great product and would bring it out for me to sample. They never came or called me about this product. The never called to ask if the outside brick work was effective after a rain storm. Yes, the re- pointing of the outdoor bricks did not leak, and the work was satisfactory. They need to improve customer service. I will not use them again. <br />"

"The representative showed up between 9 and noon as was discussed.  He did call in advance as well to let us know he was on the way.  Once Lyle arrived, he followed through with the cleaning from the roof and also cleaned out the entire firebox once he was done.  Very efficient and clean.  Once that was done, I did get to speak with Kyle to restate the estimate that i was looking for and we discussed different options.  Before leaving Kyle left a written estimate for future considerations for a chimney cap installation and some masonry work to repair some loose/cracked bricks. <br /> I am very happy with the cleaning.  I will most likely purchase and install my own chimney cap saving about $200(I have a very low and easy to get to chimney otherwise I could pay/justify the cost).   <br /> The masonry work I will most likely do myself as well for the same reason I mentioned regarding the chimney cap.  If the price was more affordable, I would just pay to have it all done by the company.  The representative was knowledgeable and earned my trust, the price point was just not worth it in the end. <br />"

"I have an older home and this particular chimney suffered a bit of damage over last winter's storms. I had hoped it would be a relatively simple repair job but several other chimney companies indicated I'd need a total rebuild, one saying that the chimney "as is" would never pass a home inspection. The price was going to be about $8,000 and as I hope to put my house on the market in the spring, I had to decide whether to spend the money, or have the rebuild negotiated into the closing costs, etc. <br /> When I saw that a women gave Sal a great review based on a similar issue (contractors saying it must be rebuilt) and that he "restored" for much less, I gave him a call.  <br /> In short, Sal alleviated my fears by confirming that my chimney is sound and did not need a rebuild.
