"All in all the project went okay. However, There is a serious lack of communication from the company to the customer. No communication from the company regarding scheduling of any work UNLESS I called them to find out the status of the scheduling then work was scheduled. Foam Insulation Before the first employee was on the job I stated I was not available on a certain date so no work could be done. The employee showed up on that date and was a little perturbed because my DISABLED wife would not let him in. Prep mans part of work. Part of the job was to move a bathroom vent exhaust that vented into attic outside. The outside wall was 1 foot away from the vent. Instead of running direct to exterior with no turns 5 to 6 feet of flexible pipe was installed running over floor with 2-3 turns to a different exterior wall. As we will eventually be finishing the attic this will need to be moved again in a few years. INSULATION itself is great with a good job done by those installers. Windows. Again had to call to get them scheduled. 2 men showed up did a great job and left. Energy audit after work done. Again had to call to get work scheduled. The key words to listen for when you call after you contract with them are "OH, we were just about to call you. Seems almost every time that is the excuse I heard. Another complaint is that if I called even early in the day I may not receive a return call the same day. In my ratings I have a problem with the punctuality and professionalism parts. The employees where all punctual on the job. The office part not so much. Calls not returned in a timely manner. Professionalism I rated lower because of one employee, except for him all employees where professional."

"Took longer than I thought it would but the results are worth it. Tile work is exceptional. During the process got helpful advice from them on what to purchase. Had great help from Diane Staalesen of Capitol District Supply as well on picking out fixtures and vanity and the Porters clearly had a good working relationship with her. Sub contractors (for painting and installation of glass shower) did a good job as well. <br /> They were very conscientious about keeping as much dust as possible out of the rest of the house and were also careful about not letting my cat out! <br /> The Porters are very easy to work with. I hired them on advice from two different neighbors who I know both demand a quality job. <br /> I am extremely pleased with the outcome, love my new bathroom! <br /> When I'm ready to re-do the kitchen I'll definitely contact them again. <br /> <br />"

"They were excellent. Dug the foundation, set the cinder blocks, poured the concrete. Built it up from there. Put on the 10x12 addition with 3 windows, 8 electrical outlets, Pergo floor, painting and finishing molding. The owner as well as every one of the crew were respectful and dedicated to doing the job 100%. Even the siding matches! They put up new rain gutters and a new roof over the addition as well. They will come back once the ground thaws after winter to do the landscaping which was included in the price.  We will have them back next year to do some remodeling in the house. Absolutely wonderful experience. If you want a quality construction firm, this is it!!! <br />"

"The project went very well. The salesman did an excellent job of explaining the process and answering all my questions. He examined not only the outside but he crawled around my attic and identified the areas of leaks and molds. His suggestion of roof color was a perfect match with the brick house. He was very thorough. This was a big project and the install team was very professional. They arrived as scheduled every day. They cleaned up every day. The install team took special care to protect the windows and landscaping. The on-site manager was communicating with me throughout the day regarding the progress. Left over material was picked up promptly at the end of the project. I would use Erie again on a future project."
