It turned out that the manufacturer installed tubes in the heater where the water goes in and comes out restricting the flow. The technician found this and once removed we had our water pressure back. The only problem was them diagnosing the exact problem, it took them 4 or 5 times that they came out before they figured out what was wrong. It was an intermittent problem, so that was the reason they couldn?t figure it out completely. With the service contract, it didn?t really cost me anything more."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Chris of CM Contracting contacted me promptly to schedule an appointment to discuss the projects.  He conveniently scheduled an evening appointment to meet with me.  We reviewed the projects and he offered advice on the door that would work best in my home.  When the materials were in, Chris contacted me to schedule an appointment to complete the work.  At the scheduled time he arrived promptly with an electrician and 2 others to complete the work professionally and promptly.  They installed a toilet, a ceiling fan with a remote, a hallway fixture and a bi-fold door.  They did excellent work, removed the old items and cleaned up the areas they worked in.  I just moved to the area and I am extremely pleased to find a contractor who does excellent work at a fair price. Chris followed up with a phone call to make sure that I was satisfied with the work completed.  I highly recommend CM Contracting and plan on using them again for big and small projects in my home.

"The gentleman who came to inspect my roof showed up for the scheduled appointment and even called out of courtsey to tell me when he was running a few minutes late.  When I decided to hire them to come and repair my chimney I didn't have as great experience.  I sent back the contract and after weeks of waiting and no word from them, I called to set up an appointment to have the work done.  They were able to get me in their schedule a few weeks after I called.  The secretary told me that someone would call me to confirm the appointment and given me a start time for that day.  I received no phone call, nor did anyone show up to perform the job.  I also did not receive a phone call stating that they were unable to keep the scheduled appointment.  If you decide to hire them, don't take off work because they are coming...there's a chance they may be a no show.  After another week of waiting, I decided to call and see what the story was and they told me someone would be out within the next two days.  I told them that I would not be taking off work again, but if I knew when they were coming I'd have a family member be at the house.  I didn't get a phone call or an email stating that the job was completed.  Days later I just received the invoice in the mail that stated that the job was completed.  When I went outside and looked at my chimney it was completed however, a phone call, email or some form of communication sure would have been nice and in my opinion professional.

"Excellent. They should be called practical solution done cheap. The sealed any cracks/holes in the attic. Removed and Insulated two knee walls and blew in new insulation across all effected surfaces. All for about 1/2 the cost of the other estimates."

"It went very well. The contact was made very quickly. All contact was very professional. We are also buying an entry door and a storm door from this company. The door salesman was also very professional and patient; he made three trips to the house. This is our first door replacement, and it took us some time to reach a conclusion on the type of door that is right for where we want to put it. The door will be installed in a week or so, I believe. The only other thing I'm waiting for is an estimate to replace the gutter on the front of the house and place covers on two other gutters.
