"I had purchased a new water softener online and was looking for a firm to remove the failed softener and hook up the new one. I contacted several Angie's List companies that indicated they offered this service. Most replied they only installed water softeners they sold - the whole package or nothing. One firm actually came out to the house and gave me an estimate that was so ridiculously high - equivalent to the cost of the softener itself - that I could only laugh. Only DuPage gave a reasonable response saying they were familiar with the softener to be installed and they would charge by the hour. The installation specialist, Rich, arrived when he said he would, inspected the old and new softeners and went to work. Within 1.5 hours he had the job completed and the new softener checked out, programmed and running. Rich is a very competent and pleasant professional and DuPage Water is a firm that earns respect."
