"David and Zack came out to our house in December for a chimney cleaning and inspection. We knew we would be needing some degree of repair on our cap and pan, but David informed me that we had been fitted with the wrong size pan the whole time we have lived here and the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. We were quite frustrated that no previous chimney service company brought the issue to our attention before the damage was done, but David put together a fair and comprehensive proposal to fix the chimney. Huge job that David and Zack’s crew, led by Jerry, got done a couple of days faster than quoted! Special shout out to Christine at the office for her speedy and super helpful communication! We will definitely be hiring them for all of our maintenance going forward! I give Nevermore Services five stars because that’s all I’m allowed to give!"

"Sean with A Advance Chimney Services came out this afternoon to clean my chimney. He did a very nice job and a very clean job. Pointed out some problems I was not even aware of. He had the material in his van to make all the repairs on the same trip. Very happy with the work! It is a much safer fireplace now! Thanks Sean and the team at A Advanced Chimney Service!"

"There was a lot of deterioration inside the chimney which made it unsafe to use. Michael and Wayne were very professional and presented us with an estimate for repairs. We have hired them to come back and do the work to insure my fireplace is safe and in good working order."

"Excellent work. Pete responded promptly to my initial inquiry, came out ASAP to provide an estimate on the cracked step (and on a bigger "dream" project I've been thinking about), explained what had likely caused the damage, and gave me several options for either replacing the step just as it had been, or upgrading a little bit depending on my price range. His recommendations were good, and we didn't feel pressured at all, but the full reshaping of the step into a rounded one was a bit outside our budget so we took him up on enlarging it by several inches instead. Overall, Pete was friendly and professional, and had that air of experienced competence that you look for in someone doing work on your house. I didn't even bother getting a second estimate. I did, however, call a good friend who has worked in the brick industry for years, and he assured me that the price Pete quoted was right in line with what he would expect for my project if you want it done right. When I gave Pete the green light, he scheduled the work promptly, showed up in the morning on time a few days later, and knocked the whole project out by that same afternoon. Put simply, the step looks great. It was done promptly, in line with our budget and at the price Pete originally quoted, and our whole experience with him was easy and hassle-free. The new brick color is matched perfectly with the old brick (absent a decade of wear and tear obviously), as is the cement, and it is clearly quality construction. In sum, I would highly recommend PK Masonry to anyone, and I will definitely use him again if I can ever convince my wife to let me pull the trigger on that dream project I've been thinking about..."

"I wanted to have my fireplace in my 100 yr old home safe for burning wood. The work Arvydas proposed was installing a stainless steel liner in the flue with top damper in the main fireplace, repair firebox, pointing chimney and crown, and installing a chimney cap, with a price of $3900. The day before work was scheduled to begin Arvydas notified me that he made another inspection and found that the masonry work needed on the chimney was more extensive than originally proposed and that the firebox brick were not fire brick; Therefore the price would be more like $5000. I was glad that he was able to ascertain the additional expense before beginning work. I had not budgeted for the higher amount and so decided it was best to not proceed, and to re-think my goal of having a functional main fireplace for wood burning-which may be aesthetically. pleasing but is not actually eco- friendly I have no doubt that Arvydas's work would have been top-notch, given his knowledge and experience."

"<p>Brian at Boss was very responsive when I called for a quote. He spent a lot of time explaining what had caused our problem and how he would go about repairing it. He gave us choices on how much work we wanted done and made good recommendations based on our situation. It was clear to us he knows his business (we got estimates from another company, and they were adamant that what we wanted couldn't be done or rather they wouldn't do it because it was too small a job). Because of the weather, Brian was unable to pinpoint an exact date for our project (which was relatively small), but gave me a range of time he would shoot for. He asked it I was comfortable with him giving me a call 24 hours in advance if it looked like he could work me in as the weather would allow. I had no problem with this. True to his word, he called one night and said they could come the next morning if OK. </p> <p>His crew showed up on time and got the job done quickly. We were out of town several days following and that worked perfectly since you couldn't drive on the driveway for 3 days. When we got back, a quick call to Brian had someone over washing off the mess and removing the forms since the concrete had cured. One note--when Brian came to give the estimate he brought James with him. Although Brian wasn't present when our job was completed (as I said it was a small job), James was there and came back for the follow up. I really appreciated that Brian sent someone that we had already met to our job vs. a crew of strangers. That personal link is important and many businesses forget it. </p> <p>We were completely satisfied with all aspects of the project. I have a feeling if we hadn't been, Brian would have done anything reasonably possible to get us there. Integrity shows.</p> <br />"

"LJIA Masonry did an amazing job replacing the broken flagstone covering my front door stoop and steps. They explained why the original flagstone broke over time and suggested a much thicker stone. It was fun watching them cut and place the stones to make them look as natural as the originals."
