"Jim provided some re-pointing on my parents red brick house. He was extremely patient, worked within their schedule, cleaned up after himself, and did an amazing job from start to finish. Our next door neighbors liked his work so much while he was doing our house, that they hired him to help re-point their house as well. Most everything he repaired blended seamlessly to original house. Jim was laid back and no hassle to work with and I would highly recommend his company to anyone."

"I would highly recommend Mr. Chismar for your masonry needs. Mike and his crew were very professional and friendly. His estimate was pretty good and the quality of work was excellent. It is rare to see individuals take pride in their work. He matched and blended in the new bricks perfectly on my chimney."

"My Husband and I are remodeling a home on the South-side slopes of Pittsburgh. My husband and his Architect friend Mark Trimbur designed the addition and remodel in the American modernist style incorporating the natural elements of the site into the home. We opted for a mixed dry stack natural stone veneer supplied by NSVI and began the stone mason interviewing process. After receiving seven bids from various stone masons we commissioned A-Z Stone Works to do the work. Aleh promptly showed up on the scheduled time, viewed the drawings, took measurements and was very professional in both appearance and manner.  My husband being in the design and building industry was very impressed with his knowledge and professional, no nonsense demeanor. A-Z Stone Works was there for us from start to finish. Aleh and my husband had several design meetings, went to purchase the stone together and A-Z Stone Works started promptly on the exact date scheduled. The stone cladding concept was not easy to install or prep for, stone on the first floor and a 3 story chimney / chase. Aleh and his crew where tireless in the installation, sometimes working 10 hour days and several days from sun-up to sun down. It was obvious from the start that every member of A-Z Stone Works took ownership in the installation of the stone. Laying dry-stack stone is not an easy straight forward job. Each piece must fit with another in an artistic way that A-Z Stone Works approached with the conviction of a master artisan. Aleh took the project on as personal challenge and bid the job fairly; certainly not the least expensive, however, as you can see by the photographs, the final product was worth twice what we paid.  If you are in a need of masonry work and need a true artisan do not hesitate to call A-Z Stone Works. My husband swears by Aleh and A-Z Stone Works and has stated to many other peers, builders and friends he could not have achieved his concept for the home without them, in his words, ?The stone work was everything?. <br />"

"Over the last two years, I used Lansberry Masonry a few times. They installed the limestone lentils above our windows, they have built a Belgium Block parking pod for our son’s car, and this year I gave them reasonably large project: to reset the entire brick patio around our pool. This job took Lee Lansberry’s small crew 3 months (4 people including Lee himself). They finished 2 days ahead of schedule and did a magnificent job. Every brick is not only reset perfectly, but it is also clean and bright (no fuzzy corners). I was not surprised. They came to work every day rain or shine before 8 AM and often worked past 4 PM. Great work ethic, great craftsmanship, great prices. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Lansberry Masonry!"

"The 3 Rivers Brick Pointing & Cleaning team was professional and did excellent work at my house from beginning to end! The in-person, email, text, and phone calls needed to estimate and set up the work were timely and responsive. Dorin, Jimmy, Gerad, and Lamar did excellent work cleaning and pointing my bricks. They were punctual, orderly, and respectful. I was impressed that they left the work areas so clean considering they were removing old debris and prepping/applying mortar. The cost of the work was a fair amount. We have a plan for them to continue to repair more bricks at my house soon. I highly recommend them! Candice"

"He was excellent.  He inspected everything.  He was very confident in what he did and was knowledgeable explained to me what he was doing.  The price was reasonable. He arrived as scheduled.  I feel safe using the gas fire place upstairs now.  I feel that the chimney will work very well.  He left me pleased in his work and confident in the use and cleaniness of the fireplaces."

"We've used Ron for two jobs now and both times have been fantastic. He was quick to set up an appointment to give us a free estimate and both times was able to get us on his schedule in a reasonable time. The first time we had Ron out was to rebuild and cap 3 chimneys on our house as well as repoint them. The total cost of this job was $2800. The previous owner had not maintained the chimneys and had improperly sealed them causing them to leak and become rather unsightly. Ron and his team came out over 2.5 days and rebuilt parts of the chimney that needed it, installed chimney liners in the active flues and properly capped/vented the non-functional ones. The second job we had Ron do was various repointing and brick replacement. There were a few spots around our house where a previous downspout had been where the mortar was worn away and where various bricks were chipped and/or missing in archways above the windows. This job was $1000. As with before Ron and his team came out, fixed everything up perfectly, and left the place as if they had never been there. In the time since the work we have had no issues with leaks or drafts like we had before and we have received numerous compliments on how great the chimneys and pointing work looks, from both neighbors and contractors we've had over."

"Tony was prompt in all of his communications and quick to get us on his schedule for a month or so out. Once the time came close for the work to be done, he got back in touch and sent workers out to prepare the scaffolding and such that would be needed for the job. The workers who came to the house were professional and did a great job with all of their repairs. One of the posts on our porch was tilted out to the side and needed to be completely rebuilt at the bottom. Now it's stronger than ever and looks great. The chimney looks great as well and is no longer leaking water into the house. The drain on our drive wave has never worked better. Great work and a great price and no running around in terms of lining things up. Every time I called I talked to someone and got an immediate response. I can't recommend them highly enough."
