"The company rapidly responded to the service request and booked an appointment with me in a timely fashion. Technician, John, arrived on time and did call 20-30 minutes prior to arrival. He was polite, profession and respected the property. Quickly diagnosed the issue and provided me with several options after showing me and explaining the issue with the fireplace. Fortunately the parts were in his truck and he was able to quickly effect a repair. Everything was cleaned up and he even cleaned the fireplace glass insert (this is a natural gas fireplace). "We hired Original Chimney Sweep after just buying our first house. Completely clueless, we were hoping they would be able to inspect and clean both the chimney for our wood burning stove, fireplace, and the chimney for our furnace. Imagine our surprise when they arrived and told us they'd been to the house before, serviced it, and even relined one of the chimneys; great information that the seller hadn't told us. The chimney sweep John was extremely professional, pleasant, and told us our chimneys didn't require cleaning. It's rare to find a company who only recommends work when it really needs to be done. They make recommendations without pushing for a sale, and we happily paid for an inspection to have their expertise and experience about how to care for our new home. "James and another worker arrived on time. They inspected the dryer vent and found two problems. On the outside of house the vent "slats" had been painted over preventing them from opening and closing properly. He scraped off the paint to allow them to operate correctly. On the inside of house he found pin holes in the vent hose which were causing moisture to escape. He duct taped the problem areas to prevent the moisture, dust, lint, etc. from escaping. He noted this would likely improve the drying time and cut down on dust. At my last minute request, James took a quick look into the chimney flue to determine if it needed cleaning, which he informed it did not. James did not try to upsell any products or services. He did all the additional work at no extra cost beyond the originally quoted price to clean out the dryer vent, which was VERY reasonable. Both he and his worker were respectful, worked neatly and cleaned up after themselves. They completed the work in about a half hour. Very professional, excellent service... I highly recommend them!"

"<p>2 workers showed up , started to demolish, were not very careful where all the bricks and old insulation fell.</p> <p>the worker, were very personable, nice, but slobs. The chimney was rebuild and I assume was done right, </p> <p>it took two days. Mike was able to make a great rough assessment of how the chimney was functioning from a google image search, and explained exactly why I was experiencing poor draft. He spent half an hour of his time walking me through my options, providing a ballpark figure for the work, and providing general guidance on how to proceed with my project.
