"Baker provided absolutely outstanding service every step of the way. I had already left voice mail messages with one or two other chimney services first, and they never even responded. Great way to run a business, eh? So I tried Baker Chimney, and lo and behold - a real live person answered the phone. She was friendly and efficient, and she set up a very specific one-hour time window a few days later when I could expect Chris to come by (not the typical half-day). Sure enough, about an hour before his expected arrival, Chris called to say he was just finishing up his prior job and was running a bit late - he apologized profusely. As it turned out, he was far more apologetic than he needed to be, because he arrived maybe all of 15 minutes late - no big deal at all. Mostly I was impressed that he called to keep me posted on his progress. <br /> Anyway, while Chris was doing his damage assessment his partner cleaned out our fireplace - very neat and meticulous. Chris checked out not only the chimney but also the foundation, the heating system venting, even the water lines entering the foundation. He was efficient, friendly, and thorough, and the fact that he was a fireman added to his credibility. Before he left he gave me a detailed written report, which included some valuable follow-up suggestions. All in all, very impressive service in every way. <br />"

"From initial phone call to leaving the work area cleaner than they found it, Simon and Bob were professional and did an excellent job on a difficult project (2 other chimney sweeps never called me back after looking at my chimney problems). An improperly installed or maintained chimney can be a major hazard, do yourself a favor and let Simon do the job right. The bill was less than expected. Can't recommend enough."

"The owner is very professional and punctual. He showed up and examined my roof and told me that the flashing needed replacement. He stated that February is not the best time of the year to do this as shingles would need to be removed to replace the flashing. He offered to fix the area that was leaking with a patch and stated he would return in the Spring to do the actual repair. I appreciated his knowledge and honesty. It was a win win because when the chimney leaked it ran down my ceiling. Now the chimney is patched and no more ceiling leak. I look forward to having Lake Region Chimney back in the Spring.
