He explained that the wind could have been a big factor in the smoke backing up into to the house. He was very professional and detailed. I would definitely recommend his company."

He said I would have to go tell them I wanted my money back because they are not going to cover that because I didn't have any masonry work done. I said I thought it was for labor too. So when I called Angie's List they said that's labor and masonry so he should give me $300 off of it or something. So when they called him back then he said he already gave me a discount. Then Angie's List got back with me and I told them he told me he was not going to give me a discount. We went back and forth for several weeks. It ended up the Angie's List representative could not get an answer from him anymore so he just refunded me my money back. The guy at Wolfman Chimney said he gave up repair and I said no, he gave me quotes and on the most expensive quote repair was included.  His work was good, but his customer service was terrible. I thought the cost was high. I think he could have done it a lot cheaper. I had trouble with his integrity. </p>"

"I was very happy with the service that David provided. He did an excellent job cleaning my vents, and dryer vent. I had requested my fireplace be done, but David explained to me that my gas unit did not require this. I appreciated his honesty and not charging me for something I didn't need, when he easily could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. The attic vent pipe for the dryer was inspected as well as the fireplace chimney caps on the roof and overall condition of the firebox.  The chimney and firebox were cleaned and all ashes and creosote removed, making the fireplace safer to use. The chimney hadn't been cleaned in over five years and we burn wood fires about 3 times a week during the winter, so the service was definitely needed.  The dryer vent had a moderate amount of lint buildup so cleaning was quick and not problematic. "At that time, we were taking in quite a bit of water in the house around the chimney. We had already had three different companies out to repair the leak, but we still had water. We had already spent over $1000 with the other guys. These guys came out and did a seamless repair on the brick and we didn't get any water for about 7 months. When we saw water again, we called them out a second time. They did a repair on a different part of the chimney, so the work they did the first time around was still intact. Even though they were not at fault, they didn't charge me for the new repair! While they were here, I had them assess the whole house, as we have had many issue with the appearance of the bricks since after having our foundation repaired. I have hired them twice for brick and mortar repair and sealing of upper level windows. They do beautiful work, very professional, very friendly and knowledgeable, prompt, they call ahead and usually call afterword to make sure customer is pleased with the work performed. They are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I have that from first hand experience! I don't mind spending the money if I know its going to be a one time repair. I highly recommend this company and I give them an A+ rating. Since I have hired them on multiple occassions, and I intend to hire them again to complete the work I still need done, it is difficult to give an approximate cost of service. But they do stand by their work!"
