"Absolutely terrible experience with this company — completely unprofessional, rude, and a total scam. I paid $1,200 for a chimney cleaning and repointing, and the work cracked in less than a week. The job was sloppy, uneven, and poorly done, showing no attention to detail. To make matters worse, one of the workers even quoted us for an additional $5800 job that was illegal, practically impossible, and no plan to pull a permit. When I spoke with the owner, Dave, he cussed me out instead of taking responsibility. His office staff, Larry and Maureen, have ignored my messages for over a week and even tried to excuse his behavior by blaming their “delinquent custodian.” This company clearly has no professionalism, accountability, or integrity."

"They make sure the area was clean, there were no dirt. when they clean chimney they made a walk link to make sure that the house wouldn't get dirty. The supervisor is very knowledgeable they explained to me what they are doing and very professional and did a good job. They made recommendation of different fireplace design if i wanted to do upgrade in the future.."

"Scheduled fireplace insert three times over 6 months. First time canceled due to emergency. Second time canceled same day because did not have the insert (so scheduled work twice without actually having insert)..Today, scheduled for after 2 PM work. No show. No call. No response. If they happen to come, will update review Currently, Flue Tech appears to be just a big joke. Would not trust them to clean my floor, much less fix something that could burn your home down."

"I called my fuel company to schedule an annual furnace tune up and was asked if my chimney was cleaned recently. It wasn't so Petro highly recommended calling Guaranteed Home Improvement. I did and spoke with Mark who made an appointment for a service call. Justin arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection of the exterior and interior of the chimney. He provided photos that were helpful as he described the damage in the flue and cautioned about the possibility of carbon monoxide building up inside the chimney. He was very knowledgeable, clear and concise as he explained that inserting a liner would divert smoke and heat from corroding the clay tiles filtering into the house. The photos of missing and disintegrated tiles at the base of the flue were enough proof for me. Justin answered my questions about the work, when it could be done, how long it would take, the cost, etc. The decision to go forward was a no brainer for me and as I was comfortable with Justin's responses and he arranged for a crew to come over within the hour. Charles and Taj arrived soon after and immediately began installing the liner in the chimney. They were professional, courteous, worked well together, and completed the work in a short period of time. Eric contacted me later to find out if everything was okay and I said I was completely satisfied. The entire process from the initial call through the follow up conversation from Eric was handled very well. In fact, everyone I interacted with at Guaranteed Home Improvement was friendly, professional, and fine examples of good customer service. The unsung heroes were the receptionists who redirected my calls. I am very thankful for the fine repair work and the peace of mind that came with it. "While their countertops are amazingly beautiful their customer service when a situation arises is unacceptable. We paid $7.6K for countertops and our brand new oak flooring was scratched during the process and they will not accept accountability. Their response was, and I quote "You should check with the plumber or electrician or who every came after us on friday". Well guess what, no one came after them on Friday so it's not possible the scratch was from someone else. In addition, when they arrived to template the countertop I advised Hector that I had a butcher block insert for the sink, of which I showed him and he said no problem, well the butcher block did not fit in the sink insert when they installed it. Lastly, the newly taped walls were scratched upon installation as well. I will not utilize or recommend Douro Granite and Marble LLC in the future."
