"One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date."

"Our neighbor who had their roof done by Boots & Sons Heating & Roofing recommended them.  They were definitely very professional which stood out the most to me.  They even had their name on their trucks.  Some of the roofing companies I know have two people and take two weeks to put in a new roof but Boots & Sons Heating & Roofing had a large crew so they finished the job quickly.  They do good quality work.  It was a job very well done.  They took the extra effort to do a good job.  There were some minor repairs that we needed done after they examined the roof; they took care of that too.  They were very thorough.  They were not the cheapest, that is for sure, but I got what I paid for.  They are not overpriced considering their quality.  They are more expensive than other roofers are but one gets what one pays for.  They were not that much higher than some of the other quotes we got.  It was a bit higher but not outrageously higher but what they were able to do was lot better.  So for me their price was excellent and the quality of work was good.  They did our neighbor’s house about five or six months before they did ours.  Therefore, we were able to see how their houses looked like and they all looked very professional.  They were excellent with responsiveness.  They did start a little late but in this business, they have to depend on the weather.  They started a few days later than agreed but I would not hold it against them; it goes in the business."
