"The owner of the company, Alonzo, arrived exactly at appointment time. Work began immediately and explained to me the process and procedure for cleaning the outside coil and inside evaporator unit. The a/c system was low on refrigerant, so he recharged the unit. Everything went well and even returned to check on the evaporator pan due to a leak. That was taken care of without any problem or extra $. Top notch service!"

He confirmed that the issue was an ac coil leak and that we would need to replace that part of our HVAC system. He gave me a quote on the parts and labor that was about 75% of what another company wanted. He walked me through the issue, showed me where the leak was happening, walked me through why it couldn't just be repaired, where/when he was going to be able to find the replacement for my discontinued 11-year-old 4-ton Rheem HVAC unit, and how much replacing the coil assembly was going to cost me. Very reasonable pricing, very professional, his team came and fixed everything within 48 hours. AMAZING! Airmax is now officially my furnace, heating, cooling, air conditioning company. At the end a walkthrough was performed and final finish detail's were rapped up to satisfaction. If I may added installed a two zone system."

"After cleaning & sanitizing, one of the air ducts was emitting particulates. We demanded that that the contractor return & redo that particular air duct. Also, the stand to one of the roof-mounted condenser units was obviously mounted crooked. The contractor & owner returned to correct the problem. StarTech accommodated our schedules and installation preferences & completed the project on time. However, since the installation it seems that StarTech has been nonresponsive or slow to respond to certain items of concern. Items of concern: 1) StarTech for the longest time did not provide us with a final invoice detailing the items/services purchased along with the maintenance agreement. It wasn't until the first cold weather when we weren't able to turn the heat on, that StarTech sent a technician. I reminded StarTech of the invoice & finally one was provided to us. 2) Early on, the switch to one of the condensate pumps would be stuck in the "On" position and I was concerned that the motor would over heat & burn out. My call was to StarTech went unheeded. 3) The location of the condensate pumps interfere with the routine maintenance of cleaning of the filters. When I explained this to the HVAC technician, he said that he would acquire some materials to install longer hoses & electrical cords that would allow us to safely move condensate pumps out of the way during maintenance. To date, this task has not been accomplished, nor have we been contacted. Summary: StarTech completed the project satisfactorily and accommodated our needs. The company's lack of attention to details & lack of customer service resulted with us giving the company this average rating."

"Reasonably priced, Scott was responsive to questions and prompt in communication. No big sales pitch or glossy flyers. Just good basic info. Sammy was our install guy. His team worked hard until all was completed and thoroughly cleaned up. Finished by explaining everything that was done and setting up inspection at our convenience. The AC is running like a dream! "He is very good. I had another company come in that I had used for years, and they came in and said my water heater needed to be replaced. On an whim, I called Bruce's Air, and he came in and said it doesn't need to be replaced, just this part. He replaced the part, and everything was fixed. It cost me $70 compared to about $500 to $600. If I ever move back to El Paso, I would use him again."

The amount he charged me for the work done and considering the time spent traveling to my house, doing the work and answering my questions and giving me advice was very reasonable. 
I highly recommend Jim for computer installation, network issues,  problem resolution and performance improvement. I will definitely call him in the future for any new issues I have.
