"Guardian Insulation was great to work with. Everything was explained in depth and choices broken down with plenty of info. We already feel a difference and notice that our furnace isn't running as often, even though we are in a cold spell. They cleaned up too. Would highly recommend!"

"Our water heater needed to be replaced and this was my first Angie's List purchase. $600 for installation including a 40-50 gallon name brand water heater plus they will take away the old one. We initially wanted to consider a tankless water heater but the price was right and we needed this completed fairly soon as we were on borrowed time. Just do it, right? We did and it was completed. I asked what brand water heater and I researched the brand with negative satisfaction results. I was not happy but I already bought the offer. The technician replaced our water heater with a 40 gallon AO Smith brand which was exactly the brand I wanted. I am happy for that but he wanted an extra $250 for a permit and straps. Shouldn't that be part of the installation? My husband made a call to Angie's List and voila, all of the sudden, no extra fee! But also no permit or straps. THANK YOU, ANGIE'S LIST! However. Is our water heater within code without a permit and without straps? We don't know but wedo have hot water."

"I used this company twice, and got great results both times. The first time was for mold remediation in a home I was selling. They were fast and professional, and most of all, kept the work area spotless. Next in my new home, I had a vapor barrier and insulation installed in my cellar. They did an amazing job, hauled out a bunch of junk left in there by the previous owner and sealed every possible crack with either barrier or insulation. Going into this recent cold snap, my house stayed pretty warm.
They say what they are going to do, and then do it. Oh, and I can mention that their price on the vapor barrier was about 40% cheaper than other bids. I would call them back anytime.

"We had a new roof put on and Omni Services forgot to seal it so there was a leak. He replaced some of the ceiling and did some of fixturing and painting. He replaced some trim also. He did a very good job. He had to re-paint the ceiling because the colors would not match. So he painted the ceiling in our main area which consisted of two large rooms. He was very dependable, very professional and he did a good job. Price wise he was the lowest estimate that I received. I will use them in the future."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"They called to asked if they could 30 min. early. when they arrived they laid down traps thru the house to the attic opening. they then sealed around the pipes that came thru the ceiling. They then blow in the insulation, built walls around the opening of the attic so when we have to open it the insulation won't fall out. They then took pictures of before and after for us to see. They carefully removed the tarps and then they vacuumed the carpet around where the tarp laid.
