"Prior "tune up" service provider apparently messed up the hvac and then tried to sell me a replacement scenario over $3000 or a new unit for over $4000.  Next Service guy, as above noted, explained all the problems and the disconnected wiring left by the prior folks, and said it could be fixed for around $200, but it cost $410 as indicated above.  I do not think he arbitrarily increased his bill--just found more stuff that needed fixing than originally contemplated, and had to make a second trip out with one of the parts needed.

I got a free diagnosis, I got an accurate diagnosis, and I got it repaired for $300 less that what was quoted me from somebody I know assume are crooks. I got great value and great service from Hometown Appliance."
