"I thought this company overall did a good job. The reason why I wouldn't hire them again is because they came across a bit shady. They tried to show me a picture of something (a chimney) in one of there books and the picture wasn't visable at all. If you have a business you should at least have a clear photo of what you are trying to show. After the estimate and an agreement on the price, he did the work. When he was done, he asked that I make the check out to cash, which there in itself is shady. I only agreed because at that point that work was already done and it was a low cost repair. <br /> So if you want a cheap price and it's a smaller job I'd say go for it, for something bigger maybe look elsewhere. <br />"

"Fantastic and thorough job done. Mentioned some fixes that I could do but gave me multiple alternatives that we can consider. Very impressed, would recommend to any friends or family. Thanks!"

"Mark S. was very responsive. He reviewed our situation and provided an estimate via email rather quickly. The chimney wall tiles were gradually falling and causing drafting issues. We immediately felt comfortable in hiring Mark and scheduled the work after the holiday. Mark, Ben and Dan arrived promptly and were courteous. They protected the basement storage area from any dust or debris by putting up plastic sheeting and laying down tarp. When they were finished, the area was spotless. The cement patch work on the wall opening was done nicely too. The replacement connections to oil water heater and two oil furnaces looks great as well. It all went well and we were pleased to have hired Chimney Savers and Mark Schaub and his crew. His estimate was fair."

"Feel so fortunate that I called Fire Design when my gas fireplace stopped working. The owner Brian, who also does the work, couldn’t have been more professional, knowledgeable, considerate or skilled. I am more than satisfied with the service (and also cozy warm now)."

"The damper broke right before the major snowstorm that we had in January. Roger and John came on 1/8th with about 12 inches of snow on the ground and temperatures below freezing. Roger checked the inside of the fireplace and noticed that there was a hole inside that went to the outside. Roger and John went outside, in the freezing weather, climbed a ladder with the snow not even shoveled, and did the needed repair. Roger then installed the new damper which is way better and easier to use then the one I had. Roger and John were very professional and I have complete confidence in their work. His price was more than fair. I have external work that I need done on my chimney and I will definitely be calling Roger for that. If you have any work to be done on your Chimney/fireplace, look no further than Best Way. I assure you that you won't be disappointed."

"GREAT! I have been using B & P for more than 30 years. They are reliable, dependable, their pricing is fair and honest and their front office is friendly and helpful. These people really know what they’re doing; they were able to get past a difficult bend in the chimney to recline without removing g bricks. They are just as responsive for a chimney cleaning as for a major repair. I wouldn’t use anyone else!"

"It was truly a positive experience having hired Quality 1st maintenance to restore my hundred-year-old stone, brick & stucco chimney. The job entailed repairing the crown, repointing the entire chimney, repairing the stucco, and installing a liner in one of the flues. Oscar and his team were a pleasure to work with! He is professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and paid meticulous attention to detail from start to finish, including cleaning up the worksite. He respected my home and property throughout the entire process. In addition, I had the pleasure of dealing with Joanne, who diligently manages the office side of the operation. She assisted with accommodating appointment times, obtaining insurance certificates, and answering any questions, or concerns that I had, in a prompt, friendly, and most helpful manner. I highly recommend Quality 1st Maintenance!"

"This Nassau County Licensed Chimney Contractor came to repair the attachment mechanism for our masonry fireplace door hat had been inadvertently damaged by another contractor. He was not able to safely repair it and recommended that we purchase a new one. He was nice enough to not charge us for his service call and the time he spent trying to fix it as well as the time he spent measuring the dimensions for a new unit. We will call this company again when needed."

"I have used this company a few times in the past and have always been happy with the service they provide. I called for the appointment and scheduled a cleaning for about 10 days later. They were booked up until then, which to me means they do a good job and are very busy. The person on the phone told me he would arrive between 9 and 10. He arrived at 9:20. The whole process of cleaning and inspecting took about 45 minutes. He did not leave a speck of soot behind, which is what I have always experienced with this company. He told me both flues looked good, with no cracks, chimney caps are in good shape. He is very open to any questions you may have about using your fireplace and is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this company. <br />"
