"First we had Wayne come to evaluate our log system in our ventless gas fireplace. He identified a small gas leak because the valve was broken. He explained our options and offered pricing on all of them. We determined that we wanted to replace the entire log set. They were able to procure the new set quickly and Dustin installed it. Dustin was prompt, polite, professional and explained everything we needed to know about the product and use of the fireplace. Highly recommended!!"

"Southern Star Roofing is INCREDIBLE!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! I had two friends that knew someone in roofing companies that knew that they could replace my whole roof with insurance monies. Of course I thought it was to good to be true but still went for it. Of course the insurance company did not replace but supposedly found hail damage but again not enough to replace roof. This was during COVID so things very hectic. Finally backed in corner from insurance company to repair. The insurance company recommended Southern Star Roofing. From the moment I made the call amazing Kristy set up appointment. Then the INCREDIBLE JONNY AND BRANDON came to my house. They assesed the roof and realized I would spend 3/4 of a replacement on full roof. They saw my distress because I did not have the money but then reccomended fiance company. They assisted me during the whole process of fiancing and replacement of roof. "Roger Roten at '58 Foundations saved me $12,000 dollars. I had already had another company out who recommended foundation repair and quoted me about 12k for the work. I called '58 Foundations who sent out Roger to give a competing quote for the job. To my surprise Roger reached a very different conclusion than the first company. He presented compelling evidence based on his observations and experience that we didn't need foundation repair at all, and at most needed $500 of masonry work. Roger recommended that I hire my own structural engineer to verify everything, and so I did. The engineer came out and found that there were no repairs needed. The small bit of cracking we saw that started this whole process is explained by expanding and contracting clay soil + 53 years of time."

"Structural engineer (not CFS) was great, met me and the crew there first day. The crew lead tried to change the engineer's plans. Fortunately, that didn't happen. On 1st day, engineer made it clear that photos of the exposed repair were required prior to covering back up with dirt. That didn't happen until I reminded crew lead, who had some excuse about his phone battery. And they had to dig it back up. Debris cleanup was only done after I said something. Straw wasn't put down as they didn't bring any, and I lost energy to make that happen. In short, be prepared to baby sit."

"It went well. Jimmy called ahead that day and said he was running behind. He came alone, inspected and cleaned the chimney box and flue. He inspected the cap and showed me pictures indicating that the paint was peeling off the cap and rust spots were forming. Jimmy cleaned up after himself and left no trace that work had been done."
