"Jeramie was amazing and very knowledgeable. Told him what I needed and he did a thorough inspection and advised me the best and cheapest way to ge to my goal. I actually had him out to inspect the chimney and another company was going to do the fireplace repair until he advised they do all and it was cheaper. Highly recommend"

"Completely rebuilt our 26-year-old wood burning mason fireplace to bring it up to code. In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. It is comforting to know that we have a completely safe fireplace that is up to code. Looking forward on having Doctor Flue perform annual chimney sweeps during the off season. "They were very courteous and professional. Work area always cleaned. In fact, they took the time to clean and re-use existing brick so bay window would retain aged look and flavor of older home, which also saved cost of new brick. They made sure to match the color of the windows caulking."

"It's HARD to find a good mason. (Believe me... I'm still trying to get my money back from one who did terrible work for me a couple years ago!) Ken is a top-notch mason. He went above and beyond to do an excellent job for a very reasonable price. He was able to work around different challenges that came up, worked well with the other contractors (who were doing the wood portion of the porch), and did it all with a smile. He paid attention to the smallest details - putting up a temporary mailbox while the porch was inaccessible, cleaning up every bit of debris / trash, dying the mortar because he noticed the existing mortar had a slightly reddish hue. I will definitely go back to him with any masonry needs. <br />"

"Ray sweeps our chimney every year. He is great. If repair work needs to be done, he tells me how to do it myself to save money. He lets me know what tools I'll need and where to get the products. I really appreciate him! <br />"

"Craig was very professional from start to finish. We have a gas fireplace that we haven't used since we purchased our home almost 5 years ago. We called Craig and made an appointment to come give us and estimate. He not only gave us an estimate but he gave us a lot of good suggestions on how to make the fireplace look good. So agreed to have him do the work. Craig came back after 2 weeks and did the following work. <br /> 1. He painted the inside of our fireplace black so when the new fireplace doors are installed it will look like a tv screen and it <br /> made it look darker and nicer. <br /> 2. He removed some of our ceramic logs and replaced them with better ones he had at his shop at no charge. <br /> 3. He cleaned all the junk stuff that had fallen into our fireplace. <br /> 4. He added new pebbles/fireplace dirt <br /> 5. He rearranged everything that made the fireplace flame look bigger and brighter. <br /> 6. He purchased a door for us that we selected from the brochures he should us at the time he did the estimate. He installed the <br /> door and showed us how to use it. <br /> 7. He replaced our chimney cap with the new one he purchased for us. <br /> He also some a few issues with my chimney that he mentioned he could fix down the road which we appreciated him telling us. <br /> From start to finish it was a great experience to deal with Craig. Would use him again. <br /> <br />"

"<p> </p> <p>They came out and did the job quickly. It was the time of year when everyone is busy but they found the time to come out. We really appreciated that. They were really nice and the repair has held up. I will definitely use them again.</p> <p></p>"

"In below-freezing temps, Art of Stone replaced or chimney cap, and did a complete tune-up of our gas log system, in timely manner, and at a reasonable price. So glad to have our fireplace back in working condition!"

"I was told there was a crack at the top of my chimney, allowing water to enter the chimney, was told they sealed it and no more water would get in. The next rain storm, tons of water leaking inside, called them to have them come back, was told someone would be out, no one came, called three more times on different days, was told twice someone would be out, no one came, eventually they stopped returning my calls. Had another company come out, they immediately found a few areas where mortar was completely missing around some bricks and the old caulking at the roof line had large holes in it. The other company sealed and caulked, no more leaks. When Best Chimney replaced the porch steps, they only mortared one side of the steps, but left large gaps at the top of the step where it met the porch and left large gaps open along the other side where each step met each other and met the side of the porch. The large gaps will make great homes for ants and wasps, when asked why they didn't fill the gaps all the way around, I was told because it will just crack open when the house shifts. It really just looked like they ran out of mortar mix and didn't want to waste time/money making more. I sealed up the gaps myself. When they did the gutter, they ran the down spout right up against the house below my window, so water will pour out against my wall/house. Never saw that before, everyone knows you need water to run AWAY from your house, not against it. I had to remove the down spout and fix it myself. They're responsive until they do the work and get your money, but after that you will never get a return call and no one will ever come back to correct any issues. They did this to me the last time I used them about 3 years ago for brick work. I will never use or recommend this company again."
