"Scott is very responsive, courteous, and professional  I have 6 locking entry doors into my home.  That's 12 locks total.  He walked through the house with me and suggested which locks should be re-keyed immediately.  He gave me advice on which doors to re-key to avoid any lockout situations.  My home was a bank-owned property and Scott understood how many people may have had access to the property, and gave me solid guidance. Scott's vehicle is a rolling locksmith shop.  He took all the lock-sets out to his car and retooled them there. I thought that was very considerate and detail-oriented.  I highly recommend him. <br />"

"I locked myself out of my house around dinnertime on a Saturday evening.  The first locksmith I called said he couldn't come because he was at a family event.  So, he gave me two referrals.  The second locksmith didn't return my call.  The third locksmith wanted to charge $175, and told me it would be an 1.5 hour wait.  The fourth locksmith was Harold at Elite, who agreed to come right away for $95.  He indicated that he was coming from Schaumburg so it was a 45 minute wait.  But after he arrived, it only took him 10 minutes to pick the lock.  Hooray. Time to give one of my neighbors a spare key!"

"Brian was running a few minutes behind schedule, but called to let me know and make sure I still wanted him to come out; I really appreciated that courtesy call.  He arrived about 45 minutes later, explained what he needed to do and went right to work.  He also made a minor repair to the existing door lock and explained that the knob/lock should be replaced at some point due to wear (door gets very heavy use and existing knob/lock becoming very loose after 20 years).  Unfortunately he was out of stock for the existing brass color, but we've agreed that he will come back when his schedule permits to take care of replacing that unit as well.  The entire job took about an hour. <br>Brian is very professional and friendly, and it's my pleasure to submit this positive review. Yes, I will recommend him to anyone looking for a responsive, professional locksmith. <br> <br>"

"This property is being cleaned up and readied for sale.  We needed locks changed in order to have keys and make sure previous occupants did not re-enter the property.  In attempting to co-ordinate several service providers to be at the property on a certain day and time, several other locksmith companies could not confirm a specific time to arrive at the property without giving a two hour window.  Jim Ness was able to confirm the appointment and, in fact, arrived a few minutes early.  The key we had for the property did not work and Jim was able to get the lock open, change all tumblers and complete 4 locks and patio door in a two hour window.  The price was very reasonable and I would definitely call Jim for other jobs.  I highly recommend Reliable Locks. <br />"

"The locksmith was awesome. We called him the night before and scheduled a next day appointment for us for our new house. He arrived on time, had all of the tools to do all of the work we required on site in his van. Re-keyed all of the locks in the house (including the storm doors!) to one key for us. We had also purchased a reproduction knob with backplate which he installed for us, as well as swapped out a Jimmy lock and bored new holes for the new deadbolt's backset. He was really professional, did a great job, cleaned up after himself, and for the ton of work he did he was really reasonably priced!! Can't recommend him enough. As a matter of fact I've already recommended him to friends whom are in the process of buying. Great job. <br />"
