"Technician was great, arrived early. Excellent communication, seemed knowledgeable. I had a problem with the pricing. I was quoted $169 for troubleshooting plus a fee for additional repairs, which I was fine with that. For the additional repair, I was charged $149 for a fireplace tuneup(no parts), not knowing the price until I saw the invoice. I don’t know what the going rate for 15 minute troubleshoot/fix, but I do not feel great about it. I paid $345 to this company, and that’s all they will get from me."

"I had actually had a different company come a few months ago and they said they couldn't fix my fireplace. So I had gone to Fireplace Man's showroom to buy a whole new fireplace, anticipating it would cost me between $3000 and $5000. When I told the people there about my experience, they said their technician could almost certainly fix my current fireplace, so I decided to let them try. In contrast to the first company, whose worker could not even find the model tag of my logs, this fellow immediately found it, disassembled everything, ascertained the flawed part, and the next day brought a replacement. Now my fireplace is working great, and I saved a significant amount of money over replacing the whole thing. I was flabbergasted at the cost of the part; however, apparently fireplace parts for my model are discontinued, and it's a big problem to find the right replacement that can be warrantied. The part was $600, and the rest of the cost was labor. Money well spent. I recommend Fireplace Man because of their skill, and the fact that they passed up a chance to sell me a costly new unit. That kind of integrity earns a lot of goodwill from me."

"The two masons completed all the cracks and secured the two walls, even adding a little mortar in a few places not on the estimate. The work is professional..... You would never know there had been any cracks. Mortar matches perfectly. Reasonable rates. A house is a expensive asset, every one can immediately see a DIY repair (never matches) - Call the professional masons, you'll be glad you did."

"He arrived on time and was done within an hour. Very professional, efficient, and friendly. The chimney was cleaned from the bottom and the area around the fireplace was blocked off so that no soot escaped. He climbed on the roof and inspected the chimney cap and said the chimney and cap were fine. I would definitely recommend Lonestar Air Duct & Chimney."

"Matt from Chimney Pro came out to service the gas logs, however, when I used the remote to show him that the logs were not igniting, the logs suddenly worked!  He said that since he didn't do anything there was no charge, and that sometimes there is air in the lines that cause the fireplaces not to ignite, until the air is cleared. <br /> Eventhough he didn't charge for the visit, he answered several questions I had about the operation of the gas logs.  Matt was extremely professional, friendly, and customer oriented.  Will definitely call them next time I have a need for fireplace services. <br />"
