"Thompson was fantastic. They responded quickly to our request, fit us into their schedule within 3 days and showed up right on time. Upon an inspection of our fireplace they found a piece of insulation shoved up into the flue. If they hadn’t found it and we had started the fireplace we would’ve had a major fire. They also inspected the chimney and said there was so little work to be done that they were going to reduce the price that we were originally quoted. Certainly didn’t inspect that expect that! "The overall experience was great and the process went smoothly.  He came out at the agreed upon time to evaluate what needed to be repaired and provided a fair estimate.  Came out very quickly after accepting his offer for services to fix our steps and a couple other cracks.  He took the steps to ensure there were no structural obstacles that would prevent this repair from happening such as the basement going underneath the front steps since he was going to be using a jackhammer.  The actual work went fairly quick and did a great job.  
I would definitely recommend this company/Grover to anyone looking for similar repairs.  I plan to use him to fix our foundation wall on our driveway in the next year or so."

"My experience with Clark Local Masonry was excellent from start to finish. Colten came out to give me a quote shortly after I initially called him. We walked all around my house and I pointed out areas where I was was concerned that moisture was getting into my house. Colten looked in detail, pointing out where he saw issues, including the chimney that I hadn’t considered a problem. We talked at length reviewing what needed to be done, the price and timeline when he could start. The repair work that needed to be done was urgent to avoid any additional potential damage, especially with all of the rain we’d been getting. Colten explained that he was waiting on a large project and felt he could fit me in basically right way before that project started. We agreed on a price that I felt comfortable with and he was able to start within a couple of days. I had talked with a couple of other masons who missed the chimney altogether as well as a couple of other obvious places. For the amount of work he did Colten’s price was considerably less. I’ve owned 4 homes and had extensive work done on 3 of them. I had no experience though with brick and mortar. I asked Colten numerous questions as the work proceeded because I wanted to learn and know what to look for in the future. Every time he responded with a thorough explanation communicated in a very patient way. He even addressed a couple of things that I hadn’t initially asked him to do, unrelated to the moisture issue. We talked about the importance of taking pride in one’s work, serving the customer etc. It was obvious Colten was extremely competent as a mason but he also had excellent people and communication skills. He came back 3 days and he kept me informed when he would arrive at my home each day. He cleaned up completely after himself and his co-worker who was also very respectful. Except for the fact that the work was completed I would not have known anyone had been working on my property. I really can’t say enough good things about Clark Local Masonry and Colten. The work, the customer service, the price, the timeline etc. etc. was all excellent. I had been very stressed about the moisture getting into my home and working with Colten really put my mind at ease. In today’s world where finding good people to do quality work is often difficult this experience was extremely positive. I recommend this company and Colten completely. I’d definitely give him more than 5 stars if I could."

"Extremely well. Sergio was early when coming to inspect for an estimate. He was very responsive to email and text (within 24 hours). He and an assistant showed up promptly at the arranged time. They were efficient and cleaned up after they were done. They fixed the hole in the chimney stucco and matched the color of the original stucco so that one cannot tell the repairs from the rest of the house."
