"I hired these folks to repair a built-in gas fireplace. This company was very responsive, communicative and prompt. Our tech was Nick, and he was excellent. He arrived right on time, diagnosed the issues, explained them to us in detail and was even able to fix them on the spot. He also did a safety inspection, as our unit had not been used for some time. Following service, he went the extra mile to vacuum up any dust and debris left by service - very much appreciated! Nick was courteous, knowledgeable and capable - I would happily have him back for any future needs with our unit. The price for service was very reasonable and came with a written, itemized estimate."

"JEO Masonry responded quickly to my email and sent me a written estimate. They repaired my steps for a reasonable price that was far lower than the other estimate I got from another local cement mason who quoted me $4,000-$5,000. The owner of the company came to my house on the day of the repair and his workers did a great job. They filled the cracks in the brick and repaired the mortar around the stairs. Also, they replaced one of the limestone steps that was cracked. Now the stairs are much more stable and look great! The workers finished all the work in one day. I had called lots of other local companies who never showed up to even give me an estimate so it was refreshing dealing with JEO Masonry & Tile. They are honest and responsive and I would hire them again."

They showed up on time and kept everything neat and tidy while they worked. He did everything by hand and is very meticulous. "I called Wednesday morning and got a voicemail, so I left a message. <br>They called back within 30 minutes and set up an appointment for first thing Thursday. <br> <br>Gavin, the plumber, arrived on time and inspected the problem and gave an estimate. <br>He replaced the seal and showed where we may have issues with the waste piping in the future <br>(they are cast iron as the house was built in the 1800's). <br> <br>Gavin was prompt, courteous and professional. <br>I will use Absolute again."

"Jason surpassed all competitors and my wildest expectations with respect to price, quality, and speed in which he constructed the front steps with stone work integrated into the facade and granite treads. I had already been informed that once demolished, my new staircase would need to include an additional step in order to be up to code. I had two quotes, and got Kirby's number from a neighbor that had a very impressive staircase recently constructed. Jason's quote was more than $1,000 below the previous lowest estimate, which I liked immediately, but he also demolished my old staircase and constructed a beautiful new one with the additional step, and completed all pointing of my stonework surrounding the stairs in a SINGLE DAY. When it was clear it was going to rain that day, he said "No problem" and built a tent around the workspace in order to complete the job. As if all that weren't enough, I had asked he incorporate a number of stones that matched the foundation of my porch into the stairs and he did it beautifully. I am happy to write him a detailed review on Angie's List which is the only thing he asked for in return. I will definitely call Kirby Masonry for projects in the future and would recommend them to anyone. Cheers!"

"Joe arrived a little late, apparently the job before ours took longer than expected. However, he was otherwise great. Very polite and efficient. Cleaned after himself so well that I did not see any trace that he had been there (except that all the fireplaces and the oil furnace flue were exceptionally clean). This is the first time that we had a chimney cleaned, but I was very impressed with his overall demeanor and efficiency. I appreciated the fact that Joe was able to come on a Saturday, with very short notice. We were very happy and would recommend his service heartily."

"Front walk was old and heaved-up by tree roots. De Angelis masons disposed of all old pieces, dug out roots, and replaced entire walk (approx 4' x 9') with pavers. Worked through several standard paver designs; finally customized one that would fit this narrow space. Estimated 1.5 days but finished job in 1 day; walk has been stable through 2014-2015 winter. Also patched a couple of holes in old concrete steps. <br /> Cut through ~3'-high brick wall separating back walk from yard; covered cut surfaces and set bluestone threshold to keep yard in place. Came back a day later to retrieve tarp (needed on cut surfaces so they would cure) instead of making us dispose of it. <br /> Not cheap, but very high quality work. Will certainly go to them for any other masonry needs. <br />"

"My first contractor started the job but never finished before winter and would not respond to my emails about finishing the job. I spent the winter climbing over piles of dirt, bricks, and tools partially covered with a large blue tarp that kept coming loose. <br /> <br /> In the spring I called Thompson and Crowley Masonry and hired them to do the job. They graded and filled the driveway, which was not done properly by previous contractor, laid down pavers and lined the driveway with granite blocks. After 2 years of use it still looks spectacular. <br /> <br /> I also had them replace my back 2 step with old granite curb stones--what a great look and they won't disintegrate! and replace another step with granite. <br /> <br /> Thompson and Crowley Masonry showed up when they said they would and were very professional. I couldn't be happier with their work. I have a driveway for 6 months of the year and a patio for the other 6 months. <br /> <br /> I highly recommend Thompson and Crowley Masonry."
