"We wanted to remodel our 1990's era kitchen with a more modern look and to add appliances and features. We contacted Starcom Design/Build based solely on a recommendation from friends who had used Starcom for their remodeling projects. There are two aspects to a remodel project - design and execution - that require both to be top-notch to achieve desired ends. Tim Welsh delivered "five-stars" on the design aspect while the installation crew delivered "five-stars" on their work. There are so many choices and decisions that go into a kitchen remodel, sometimes making the process overwhelming. Tim worked with us to get through each and every one of those myriad decisions to deliver the kitchen of our dreams. All of the trades involved in the installation did an excellent job -- electrical, plumbing, cabinet installation, carpentry, granite countertop fabrication and installation, dry walling, painting and tile flooring. All installers were very professional and respectful of our home. They made every attempt to make a messy job not so. At the completion of the work, we couldn't be more satisfied -- the design, materials and the workmanship are all superb. The final cost of the project came in about what we expected, considering the upgrades and additions we made to the original concept design, and we were please with the value of the project.
