"As a single, female homeowner I rely heavily on customer reviews when it comes to selecting contractors for home repairs. Therefore, I take submitting my reviews seriously and am always completely candid. With that said, I am submitting this review to express my satisfaction with the chimney cleaning and chimney liner replacement performed by Daren of Gallo's Chimney Sweep. Daren (and his brother-in-law, whose name escapes me) were both extremely professional and personable. Daren provided pictures of my chimney, which clearly showed I had a problem. He patiently explained in detail (including the required materials) what should be done to rectify the problem. There were no 'hard sale tactics' nor any pressure to sign a contract. After making a few calls and conducting my own research on the Internet I discovered his quote was very reasonable. We agreed on a date/time and he arrived as scheduled. They reviewed completed stages with me throughout the project to make sure I understood what they were doing and why. Once the job was complete, they cleaned up all the debris. "Bob was very friendly and knowledgeable. We have had issues with our gas fireplace since it was installed by the builder. There was a very bad odor that kept us from using the fireplace, and it was very drafty too. Bob identified the problem right away. He inspected the fireplace, added some insulation to it and cleaned it.  
He gave us instructions about what to expect regarding the odor, a description of what different odors mean and told us to call him if the problem persists.

"He was prompt, professional and very courteous. We have a newborn, so dealing with a leak was not something I could handle right now. I don't have a ton of experience with chimney repair so the price seemed on the high end of reasonable, but he was responsive on the first day and came to do the repair as soon as weather permitted. We just had our first rain since the repair and everything stayed very dry. Well worth any additional expense."

"This is the second time we've hired John. He's responsive, punctual and very easy to work with. He cleans the work area daily and his work is impeccable. Before installation of the brick, he had to remove a Corian backsplash. This was his first brick backsplash and we couldn't be happier. In terms of cost, I couldn't tell you if he's high, low or average because he's' the only person I called. Also, the first time we hired him, about 4 years ago, he installed a porcelain tile floor which garners compliments all the time."

"Initial estimate was 5-8 days, but we were going in blind because the siding was not yet removed. After removal, we discovered all the remaining issues. The estimate went up as we made change orders but all the estimates were reasonable. The time eventually extended to about 3 weeks but the amount of work was definitely high. The guys made sure to clean up the rubble and messes they made every day. While having the paint stripper in the front was inconvenient, Pat stayed late to clean up and make sure we were able to get in and out of the house no problem. The pointing job looked great, and all cracked and broken bricks were repaired well. We have gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors about how much better the house looks now. Pat and Ryan are great masons and will do everything relating to masonry and stone. They are very straightforward about not doing carpentry or electrical systems, so if that's a part of the job, they can either recommend someone to help out, or you should make sure to handle it yourself. Communication with Pat is very fast and very clear. He will explain the details of the job to you very carefully, and will also provide careful records of invoices and payments. They are also very accommodating of various needs like access to the house, neighborhood requirements, etc."

"Christian and the entire team at natural Stone kitchen and Bath where a joy to work with. I had tons of questions and they had all of the answers. They were helpful and made me feel comfortable every single step of the way. They were more focused on my satisfaction than they were on the actual sale of the product. They came out and templated our kitchen and the granite fit flawlessly. It is like having a totally new kitchen. I would recommend their services to anyone. What I have discovered through the process is the price of granite is pretty much the same everywhere you go. The difference is the quality and professionalism of the customer service that you receive from the people you work with and given another chance I wouldn’t work with any other company. "Beautiful job! The kitchen counters have nevaska granite, and perla venata quartzite for the kitchen bar. Went in one Saturday, founds the ones we liked, took samples home to test for staining, etching, scratches - both passed with flying colors. Went back the next Saturday to pick our slabs, they came and measured, went back for placement on the stone and they installed the following Friday. They were in and out in a little over 2 hours. Very nice bunch of guys who did a beautiful job, didn't break or ruin anything - it was a pleasure to have a job run smooth and everything look better than when they came. We love the new stone, it looks like we have a bigger kitchen and the stone is so beautiful - we couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend KOL - they have an extensive selection, will answer ALL the questions you may have, and do a wonderful installation."

"Jeff Tomasello is great. The only reason i did not rate the price is that before even doing the firmal work, having spotted a safety issue with our current brickwork, he quickly went to work, without my even asking, repairing/re-pointing the two steps of our front door portico (cleaning up as well). He was professional, knowledgeable, and had all that you look for in am masonary/stone company. He did great work. I highly recommend and endorse!!"
