"I had my chimney repaired and I was concerned about the safety of its use after... I called Old World and they came out to inspect. They cleaned my chimney, which was greatly needed. He also went out of his way to inspect the work on the top of the chimney... we had scaffolding already up which made it easier for him to inspect.. He took pics and he made a modification recommendation that would prolong the life of my chimney cap, he drew it out so I could show my contractor.. It made good sense so we had it done. Additionally, he took a look at my dryer vent... thankfully he did... the vent sorely needed to be cleaned, had it not been done we could of had a fire! Overall we were very happy with the service and pricing and would gladly recommend them again"

"Overall, the work was superb. First class. After measuring carefully, Matt mitered the pieces and set up a painting area outside. Once the pieces were dry he started installation. It was exciting to see how fast they went up. You can't see where the nails are because they were all spackled and painted with high gloss paint. When all was complete, Matt calked seams and top and bottom of each piece. My neighors have spaces where the molding meets the wall and ceiling and I think that ours looks so much more professionally done. Matt left everything neat and clean. The same for the painting. Drop cloths and tape were carefully applied. No drips or spots anywhere. The whole job took a little over 9 days. We didn't run into any unexpected problems. Very pleased."

Installed a retaining wall to address a steep drop in elevation between our property and the neighbors that was causing soil to press against the fence we are going to replace. Needed to have some pipes installed to take the rain water from the downspouts to alley too. Also had them install shell down the sides of the house. Everything done well. Good company. "Two handymen arrived and worked efficiently to accomplish the tasks on my list.  One task unfinished was to explore the source of some water damage in the wall at the base of a sliding glass door.  Ron opened the wall, making a clean hole so that the moisture could dry out.  He offered to return to follow up to see if the new seal at the base of the slider fixed the problem and then install and finish the drywall.  It turns out the moisture problem continues and will probably require some water proofing under the slider and possibilty replacing the sliding glass door (learned this from a neighbor with similar issues).  Other than the moisture problem, all tasks were accomplished quickly and neatly.  I'd call them back for similar tasks.
