"The company rapidly responded to the service request and booked an appointment with me in a timely fashion. Technician, John, arrived on time and did call 20-30 minutes prior to arrival. He was polite, profession and respected the property. Quickly diagnosed the issue and provided me with several options after showing me and explaining the issue with the fireplace. Fortunately the parts were in his truck and he was able to quickly effect a repair. Everything was cleaned up and he even cleaned the fireplace glass insert (this is a natural gas fireplace). I called North American Chimney because I had them out to clean my chimney before and they did a nice job. I called and made an appt. The technicians came out to take a look and gave me a price for a cap and brickwork. I was pleased with the price and I told them to do the job. They did the work that day and I was so happy. "I highly recommend All Star Chimney Sweeps if you ever need chimney work done. When I called a few places to have some work done on my chimney I knew I had chosen the right place when I went with Larry. He is not only very personable he and his associates do excellent work at a fair price. I had called Larry at the beginning of the summer about repairs that I knew needed attention to as I could see several rows of bricks that needed replacing. Larry promptly came out, took pictures of the inside and outside of the chimney where higher up there were more rows of brick that clearly needed replacing and then left us his bid. When I called him back telling him I wanted to have him do the work I asked him if I could wait until summer was over as we had just replaced our above ground pool and wanted to be able to use it and entertain guests for the rest of the summer. I told him I would expect to pay whatever the increase in price was since I wasn't having the work done right away and he quickly said don't worry the price will be the same. I called him again with some additional requests which weren't in the original bid and again he said the price wouldn't change. Larry and his associates just finished the chimney repairs and everything turned out excellent. Their work is superb and they are very neat cleaning everything up at the end of the day. I plan on having Larry do some future work for me on the front of my fireplace on the inside. If you need any chimney work done don't hesitate to hire Larry and his company. "I had water leaking into basement, during heavy rain storms, from my chimney. I needed someone to install a double flute chimney cap on my 4 story tall chimney with steep roof pitch. He agreed to purchase a cap and install it for 589-. He selected a nice stainless steel cap to shield the rain. He installed it without difficulty, remortared a loose brick he found during his inspection (for free), and was happy to answer all my questions. Clean and professional. Heavy rain storm occured two weeks ago and my hearth and basement are now dry! If I require more chimney repair/work then I will call him again in the future. <br />"

"ThThey arrived 15 minutes early and started right way removing the chimney cap.  A new hole was punched through the cinder block and flue in prep for the liner (and t-connector).  Everything went smoothly at first but they couldn't get the liner all the way down.  After about 45 mins. it became clear something was blocking the flue.  Nelson (the owner) commented that they would get it done and then spent another 3/4 hour trying again. Finally they proceeded to make holes in the external chimney to expose the flue and f found the obstruction (flue tiles weren't aligned).  Work proceeded faster at that point.  Overall, it took about 5 hours.  The replacement brick looked liked it belongs and the interior vent piping was clean and neat. <br /> They did a very good job of cleaning up all the debris both inside and out (When the came, they asked if there was a hatch or basement door, as they didn't want to track dirt through the house.   <br /> The original quote was for $1400 but I paid them $1500 as they spent a lot more time than planned on getting the job done right. <br />"
