"Excellent! They explained why I could not get grass to grow well in my backyard: once they excavated, the soil contained lots of compact clay and rock, causing seeds to drown from watering. Once we locked in a date, they knocked it out relatively quickly, and gave me instructions on how to maintain the artificial grass going forward. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to the quotes I received from other contractors, and they did not charge me for leftover artificial grass, which they could have done. I recommend J&R Rockscapes without reservation!"

"Disappointed. Sound Tile and Grout was on the pricer side and I definitely did not feel that I received what I paid for. Part of the initial install was done poorly (more joints than necessary, see picture) and required the provider to return to reinstall portions of the tile which I was charged extra for. The provider did not clean up at the end of each day nor was the area thoroughly cleaned after the job was completed. The provider left pieces of tile on our front sidewalk and a track of dirt and debris down our stairwell. Grout haze was also not fully removed. At the end of the day the completed install did turn out well, but I would not recommend this company due to the above concerns."

He got us on the schedule early and the job was completed in record time. It turned out better than I'd ever hoped for. The pavers are gorgeous and look even better after it rains! I have use of my front yard for morning coffee or a place to sit and relax in the evening. Every day I look at it and smile because it has completely transformed our front entry, made it functional and infinitely more attractive. Everyone who has come by to see the job (neighbors, friends, even the mail carrier) has commented on how beautifully it turned out. This is one of the very best contractors I have ever worked with.
