"I had to have my chimney repaired. I had to have some brick work done on the chimney and I needed a cap. I called North American Chimney because I had them out to clean my chimney before and they did a nice job. I called and made an appt. The technicians came out to take a look and gave me a price for a cap and brickwork. I was pleased with the price and I told them to do the job. They did the work that day and I was so happy. The technicians were very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend them to anyone that needs Chimney work as well as fireplaces and many other services."

"I just moved up from Florida into my childhood home.  I knew the fireplaces were original (1957) and probably had not had any work done on them for years.  Hearing all kinds of stories about fireplace fires in the home I knew I had better get them checked out as I knew we would definitely use them.  I called co. and Brad came out and checked them out.  The upstairs fireplace was okay to use but the fireplace downstairs needed work.  Brad suggested a wood or pellet stove as it would throw out more heat than the original setup.  I decided to go with a wood stove after speaking with Derek.  He quoted me a price for the whole job. He explained to me that he would have to order the stove and it would take about a month to come in.  I gave him a deposit and he scheduled the work for a month later.  He was true to his word.  They called me the day before to let me know they would be at my house the next day.  Both Derek and Brad came out and they went to work setting everything up.  Completed the job in one day!  Everything was cleaned up afterwards.  They were great!  The stove and new cap on chimney looks great!  I have already scheduled for my fireplace cleaning in June 2014.  I definitely recommend them!

Sal came out and explained all issues and keep me in the loop with updates as our quartz was backordered. "I bought a really nice regency gas fireplace from South Shore Fireplace and couldn't have been happier with the way they treated me and completed the installation. They were the most attentive and considerate companies I approached which is why I went with them. We couldn't get the time of day from other fireplace stores. These guys were right on the ball from the start. Spent a lot of time going over the different stoves and options that go with them all. The installation was scheduled and went very well. Installers were very thorough and clean. This was a complete installation, needed the chimney as well as the stove. Everything was done perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Recently, the stove I picked had a recall and I was informed and updated by Scott as soon as he had news. This actually went on for a couple of months but Scott would contact me every couple of weeks and let me know what was going on. When the replacement part came in, they scheduled the work IMMEDIATELY and I met Jon, one of the senior techs and installers. Jon was on time, meticulous and thorough. Very clean and organized as you would expect a master craftsman to be. The repair went very well and made my stove run better than ever before. When your happy with a job someone does for you, you hardly ever write a review but something turns sour, people can't write one quick enough. When I need something done, I go online and read all the awful reviews of probably great companies so I do not hire them. This review is for all of you that are like me and come here to get the low down on a business. Do not hesitate to go with South Shore Fireplace. It is very hard to find craftsman who really care about what they do and also so nice to deal with. South Shore Fireplace will be my go to guys for the rest of my life. "Ted responded promptly when I purchased the deal. He came exactly when he said he would. He gave me his opinion and showed me various options but I decided I was going to have to wait. His strength is brick work, although I did not want brick stairs. If anyone would want brick stairs, I believe he would be a strong candidate."

"Joe arrived a little late, apparently the job before ours took longer than expected. However, he was otherwise great. Very polite and efficient. Cleaned after himself so well that I did not see any trace that he had been there (except that all the fireplaces and the oil furnace flue were exceptionally clean). This is the first time that we had a chimney cleaned, but I was very impressed with his overall demeanor and efficiency. I appreciated the fact that Joe was able to come on a Saturday, with very short notice. We were very happy and would recommend his service heartily."
