"Contractor came and finished on the day and time he promised. He matched the brick on the replaced chimney to the  two fireplace chimneys. His workmanship was of high quality and he cleaned up after he was finished. He was very personable and was proud of his work as he should be.. "I have a wood-burning fireplace that I don’t use to burn wood. I have an electric insert instead. But the flue would not stay closed. Last winter was very very drafty in my living room. I reached in and tried to fix it myself but did not have the tools or the ability but the gentleman from Fixed and Fair had both. He was here just a short time and did not charge me anything. I would recommend this company highly. (But would like to suggest they put their address on their business cards. I had to look it up on Google to enter this review above!)"

We purchased the big deal on Angie's list because we knew that our fireplace needed cleaning and we also had a damper that needed repair. There were issues with the exterior of our chimney as well.

When the crews were running a bit late on the day of our appointment, the office called me to let us know, which I appreciated. And the extra time was well worth it; my husband and I were very impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and courtesy of the men who came to work on our chimney. With digital images they gave us a detailed look at our fireplace, the chimney and the exterior of the chimney, and were able to suggest a fix for the damper that they installed that day (it's made a huge difference in the amount of cold air that comes through the chimney). They installed a chimney cap--something else that we knew we needed--and came back two days later to seal the bricks on our chimney, which are showing some signs of wear. (The gentleman was also knowledgeable about this type of brick and could explain why it was crumbling.

All in all, a very good experience and we would highly recommend this company to anyone."
