"Scheduled fireplace insert three times over 6 months. First time canceled due to emergency. Second time canceled same day because did not have the insert (so scheduled work twice without actually having insert)..Today, scheduled for after 2 PM work. No show. No call. No response. If they happen to come, will update review Currently, Flue Tech appears to be just a big joke. Would not trust them to clean my floor, much less fix something that could burn your home down."

"MC Home Improvements and Construction did a complete replacement of our Master Bathroom. The project went extremely well including there estimates of time, labor and cost. The quality of the work and people doing the work were excellent. They set proper expectations, communicated well, cleaned up as expected, and delivered as promised. Any unexpected issues which arose were handled promptly with no delays in project. They really did an expectational job on our bathroom. We also found the vendors which they recommended to use for tile, fixtures, etc. were easy to work with and also meet all of our expectations. Kelly who was our project manger went above and beyond to exceed our expectations."

"WARNING: DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! To start, we got a free quote on May 4th for a concrete patio. They seemed to know what they were doing and gave us the best price, so we went with it. We should have known cheaper never means better. We gave them a deposit and they told us that the remainder would be due at completion, however, each time they were here, they asked for more money to be given. From the start communication and scheduling was very difficult. It took us awhile to get in touch with Vinnie and to get them to come out to do the work. They would say they would come on X day, then they wouldn't show until a few days later, however, we continued to give them the benefit of the doubt and were beyond patient with them from start to finish. Come pour day, which wasn’t until the end of May, they hired only 2 workers, which we later found out, were not “real masons” They poured the cement and only finished half of it. They left that day with a whole cement slab in our backyard with only half of it “finished” They said they would come back the next day to complete it. Cement patios are supposed to be done in one shot- monolithically, or they will crack. They didn’t show the next day to finish. Days go by and still they did not come back to finish it. So now we have a dried cement unfinished slab in our backyard. We then realized that they poured it against the foundation of our house with no expansion joints, which is not up to code. The few days that passed, it rained a lot and we had huge puddles on the patio- even on the “finished” side- just shows you that they did not know what they were doing and it was completely uneven. Truly unhappy with how things were going, we requested them take out the cement slab, clean the cement that was all over our siding, plant new grass where they killed our grass, and most importantly, refund us our money. At the time, they agreed, but it took FOREVER to get any work or money back. Come June 8th, they finally came back to take out the patio, they took out half of it and refunded half of our money. They also never showed to clean our house and replant grass seed like they promised, but at this point, we just wanted our money back. It is now July 18th and after being ignored by Vinnie for weeks and weeks, we had to threaten them with a lawyer, and complaint to BBB and Federal Trade- and it wasn’t until we did that, that they finally sent us the reminder of our money back. I would also like to add that Eric, the “salesperson” as he called himself was nice to us, but VERY rude to his workers that they hired to do work. He would yell at them and we overhead many racial comments he would say to them and it made us feel super uncomfortable. Again, save yourself and do not hire these frauds."

"Garbage disposal installation"

"My driveway fell apart within days. The company is non-responsive to a warranty claim. It wasn't installed properly, and the gravel started flaking off immediately. It is already leaving depressions which will only get worse after winter. I have been chasing this company for months with vague promises they will look into it. Their last response was for me to sealcoat the driveway - at my expense! - which would only cover up the damage. I am pursuing a claim in court. Avoid this company if you don't want to have to do this."
