It also created cracks throughout the basement which was filled and repaired completely in a day in a half. The brand new stairs and outside door I am very pleased with. I called North American Chimney because I had them out to clean my chimney before and they did a nice job. I called and made an appt. The technicians came out to take a look and gave me a price for a cap and brickwork. I was pleased with the price and I told them to do the job. They did the work that day and I was so happy. The technicians were very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend them to anyone that needs Chimney work as well as fireplaces and many other services."

"The representative showed up between 9 and noon as was discussed.  He did call in advance as well to let us know he was on the way.  Once Lyle arrived, he followed through with the cleaning from the roof and also cleaned out the entire firebox once he was done.  Very efficient and clean.  Once that was done, I did get to speak with Kyle to restate the estimate that i was looking for and we discussed different options.  Before leaving Kyle left a written estimate for future considerations for a chimney cap installation and some masonry work to repair some loose/cracked bricks. <br /> I am very happy with the cleaning.  I will most likely purchase and install my own chimney cap saving about $200(I have a very low and easy to get to chimney otherwise I could pay/justify the cost).   <br /> The masonry work I will most likely do myself as well for the same reason I mentioned regarding the chimney cap.  If the price was more affordable, I would just pay to have it all done by the company.  The representative was knowledgeable and earned my trust, the price point was just not worth it in the end. <br />"
