"I thought this company overall did a good job. The reason why I wouldn't hire them again is because they came across a bit shady. They tried to show me a picture of something (a chimney) in one of there books and the picture wasn't visable at all. If you have a business you should at least have a clear photo of what you are trying to show. After the estimate and an agreement on the price, he did the work. When he was done, he asked that I make the check out to cash, which there in itself is shady. I only agreed because at that point that work was already done and it was a low cost repair.
So if you want a cheap price and it's a smaller job I'd say go for it, for something bigger maybe look elsewhere.

"Two guys showed up on time and got to work immediately inspecting and vacuuming and snaking the fireplace and chimney flue. They operated form the roof and inspected the entire chimney from top to bottom. Both men answered my lay questions kindly and with plenty of detail about minor and major issues they found and the forecasted schedule of when I should address them. They did NOT do the classic inspect-and-force-you-into-buying-a-new-liner routine and that was much appreciated.  They took their time and did not rush the service or question/answers. They earned credibility and next year or so when I replace the liner, I will call upon them for sure. I recommend this company.
