"Tom arrived at 9:57 for a 10:00 appointment.  He was dressed in Assurance Chimney uniform.  He went right to work inspecting both chimneys we have.  He cleaned one and said the other did not need it.  He left the house clean.  While up on the roof inspecting both the inside and out of the chimneys, he noticed some flashing that needed resealing.  We were having a leak in this area.  He quickly and professionally did the job.  I have been using Assurance Chimney since 1991.  No one else has ever cleaned or repaired my chimney.  I highly recommend Assurance Chimney and Tom Lloyd.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Chuck did excellent and we are very pleased with the results. Unlike other contractors who also looked at the job, he took the conservative approach to the project, opting to repair and selectively replace damaged bricks rather than tear down the whole thing and put in masonry blocks that didn't really relate to the overall brick façade of the house. He took pains to integrate replacement bricks with the original ones that were still in good shape, so the contrast was subtle and not glaring . The whole effect looks better than new! Ditto the walkway, where he reused the former bluestone slabs and brick to expand and re-lay the path. Chuck did the work himself, which was especially appreciated. His precision, care, knowledge of older bricks and masonry techniques, and his ability to come up with solid solutions when issues arose illustrated his professionalism. Chuck took his time to make sure the job was done right, and as I said before, we are very pleased with the results. His price was very fair too! We would definitely recommend him and hired him again."

"We were referred to Pepe Paving by friends of ours who had just used them and were very happy. Since our friend has high standards and a good eye, we soon after called Pepe Paving for a quote. Maurizio of Pepe Paving redid our patio and created our new retaining wall, replacing our crumbling brick patio and retaining wall bordering it, and removing an undefined buried heap of junk on the corner of our property left by the previous owners (old pipes, fences and other construction debris). The quote he gave us was very reasonable and he was prompt, helpful and professional. He responded to questions within 24-48 hour period. And when the job required more work than initially anticipated (due to 2 hidden layers of cement patio under our original brick patio), he didn’t upcharge us and still managed to finish on time. The final patio and retaining wall far exceeded our expectations. The patio has elevated the look of our house and created a great place for entertaining. Maurizio is a pleasure to work with and graciously answered questions when our neighbors stopped by to see what was going on- they were impressed. We would definitely go with Pepe Paving again if I had any further projects of this nature. I wish more contractors were this good."

"First they did not show up for the first appointment. I had to call and ask if they were coming. Another appointment was made. A third appointment was needed for the cricket . When they installed the cricket, they did not vaccume out the mess. They had a tarp on the ground, but still were disrespectful of my home, walking over the mess and tracking the dirt. I requested information on cleaning the indoor brick. I was told, they had a great product and would bring it out for me to sample. They never came or called me about this product. The never called to ask if the outside brick work was effective after a rain storm. Yes, the re- pointing of the outdoor bricks did not leak, and the work was satisfactory. They need to improve customer service. I will not use them again. <br />"

"Let me start off by saying I can't say enough about this company. My house had previously had cement bricking on its face, porch & sides of the garage. Due to weather over the years and not being properly sealed, it started to fall apart. Anthony came, viewed my project, and then emailed me a quote which was better than I had thought possible. When he worked, he worked for most of the day, was polite and respectful. A very nice gentleman. His work was superb. It went beyond anything I could have asked for. He takes pride in his work and gives each stone its own detail. When completed, I couldn't have been more happier! It looks as if it was meant to be that way always. I absolutely love the work he did and would highly recommend him. I wish I had more projects for him to do! Big shout out to Anthony & his company!!"
