"In response to a request for someone to repair my Weber gas grill thru Angi’s list, I was contacted by Plano Masonry and Chimney. I was told they mainly do fireplaces and do not provide this service but recommended Jeffrey. Jeffrey contacted me within 30 min, on the Saturday afternoon before Memorial Day! A couple hours later, the grill was fixed and the brats were cooking! The owner of Plano Masonry and Chimney was awesome, going out of his way to help us. Jeffrey communicated his ETA, kept me informed throughout the repair process, which was quick and successful. He was very personable and we felt comfortable having him in our home. It was reassuring to know there are people willing to go out of their way to help, especially on a holiday weekend! Because of them, we celebrated on Memorial Day the way we had hoped."

"Karlo Palomo contacted me immediately upon my query through AL. He offered an estimate right away. It was a bit lower than one other I had obtained, although it was considerably higher than the cost of the same repair the last time I had to have it done. He came out later that same day and inspected the site in person, having only seen it via, I suppose, Google Maps or some similar internet program when he gave the initial estimate. He lowered the estimate immediately upon seeing the actual box, as some of the required work he anticipated would not have to be done. He told me the work would be done in five-to-seven days, and he actually completed it the next Saturday morning, arriving after I'd left for work and completing it by the time I returned midday. He did an excellent job on the structure; he neatly stacked the surplus brick, and he approximated the structure he replaced by about 85%, which was all that was possible to do, owing to the availability of the brick used on the original. His design was a bit different but was, in my opinion, more attractive than the structure he replaced. I was satisfied in every way with his promptness, courtesy and professionalism, quality of workmanship, and business-like approach to the job. I highly recommend  him and would definitely call on him again for masonry work. <br />"

"It went really well. He communicated issues that came up while he did the work and made suggestions on how to proceed. While working in the house he came across an issue that needed some minor repair that was not included in his quote. He stopped made the repair quickly and and continued working on the other tasks. He did some re-grouting, door repair, wall repair, and siding repair."

Bruce was wonderful in looking over the work and letting me know the extent of the repair. He moved some jobs around to be able to repair the brick before we got a rain so there would not be any more water damage. The repair to the bricks is very good and the chimney very solid now. "Great! We had him out because we were selling our house and the inspector said our fireplace and chimney were dirty(which I knew they weren't) and the buyers wanted us to address it. He came out and took one look at our fireplace and said there really wasn't anything wrong with it, but he had to charge us for a service call. He felt bad about it, but I completely understood. He wiped down the fireplace and ran the brush up the chimney even though it didn't need it so we could tell the buyers we had it taken care of. "The work took place over parts of three days due to weather. The 40' stone retaining wall looks new and the caulking that was between a substantial number of chimney bricks was removed and replaced with mortar. The stone planters in our home's entry were carefully cleaned of broken/cracked mortar, the stones are now solidly in place and the planters look great. Roy is an artist with this kind of work. Cleanup was very thorough - minimal effort needed after it was done."
